By the way fellas, Rich Grisham, host of the press row podcast has been doing a great job shedding light on the demise on OLs in 2k and other sports games in general. In the most recent podcast, he grilled 2k Dev Scott O'gallagher about why 2k released such a barebones OL the last two iterations, at the expense of their glitched albeit infinitely better OAs in last gen. OG said to send him a detailed list of what we would like to see in this mode in future iterations. Even though the requested info exists in this thread, it wouldnt hurt to PM OG or tweet him referring this thread or communicating with him directly about OL issues. OG stated in the podcast that he is primarily responsible for defense in the game, but would make an effort to get our issues to the team that works on this mode.

I'm so tired of this, I really am. My league is trying to get to the playoffs and of course we can't sim. I'm tired of creating lists to improve a mode that they obviously know is flawed. I'm tired of quitting games early in order for them to register. Fact is, 2K isn't listening to us. They keep saying give us a list of things to fix when either they are just deflecting the problem. I mean have any of the devs ever been in an online league. It's like they are n00bs and have completely forgotten what a successful league looks like.

NBA2K is more focused on the park and my career. It's clear as day that we have been pushed to the bottom. Player accessories have even been moved above Online Leagues. A player doesn't have the right socks gets addressed way before fixing games registering in a game mode.

Shame on 2K for being completely incompetent and ruining the game for me. I buy games to play in online leagues. I have yet to play in an acceptable 2K Online League game on the PS4 yet. I gave them a pass last year since it was obvious rushed but this year there are no excuses. The game is almost 2 months old and still games don't register!!!

I appreciate Rich for keeping the 2K online league dream alive but it's a reoccurring nightmare that I can't seem to shake. Sadly I feel like we are the minority and it's not going to get any better. 2K is killing online league communities one game at a time.

I feel your frustration swim....I put on a cool and collected act on these boards but inside I'm beyond irate but we gotta keep it constructive....what issues are you guys having with the playoffs? We will be getting there soon and I'd like to anticipate some of the issues.

I cant sim to the playoffs, keep getting a failure to sim error message.

So all games have to be played on the calendar before you can advance to the playoffs? Does it let you reset then sim or is resetting and simming both giving you errors? All else fails create a new league, make it as few games as possible and go straight to the playoffs. Who am I kidding you guys probably have had trades that will make thst cumbersome. Sigh..I'm now dreading what awaits our league as we approach the playoffs . The sole purpose of why we endure this crap is to be able to crown a champ.

Can anyone confirm if they have successfully completed an OL season reg and post season?

Just got back from Thanksgiving break with the family. Any update to this? I hear in the streets another attempt to fix came. How did it go?

It's a mixed bag boiler. Games were registering fine for the last few days. All of a sudden it stopped registering last night for the two games I played. The strange thing is that it registers for some of members still. They were definately registering on the win loss records as well as the lg calendar with the final scores. But again as of last night, the servers have stopped registering games. Also when resetting games, it does not update the records accordingly, even after simming the game that was just reset. It's been a frustrating roller coaster with the issue but 2k is doing something so we are charging ahead in spite of this by requiring our members to keep a tally of their actual records for our weekly league power rankings.

Right now, the OLs are just serving as our infrastructure to play games with our members. We are doing a majority of the administration outside of the barebones leagues.

Welp its no longer hit or miss. We have a big enough sample size in our league to confirm that games are no longer registering at ALL. Back to square one sigh.

On the bright side these issues are in the hands of the developers but won't be addressed in the big patch.

Yesterday they say leagues were not addressed on the patch; today ld2k is singing a different tune by the looks of this tweet below. Care to chime in ld?

There are some small updates coming to OL's. They will be available in the patch notes.

In our Online League the Games are registering on the Conference Chart, but not in the Schedule Main Menü. So we Start to put the Min up to 9min with 3 Quarters not 4. After the End of the 3 Quarter the Loser Team Quits the Game. The Reason why we dont make 7Min with 4 Quarters is, that Someone can forget to Quit and 1 Game is enough and the Palyoffs dont Start in this League because of this Simulation BS. Games that are played in the League cant Sim by the Admin -.-

This make me Sick Guys, the Games are Registering but not in the Schedule, and because of that Playoffs will never Start.... so Games Quitting is the Only Way to have Online Leagues with playoffs -.-
