IMHO, the game should be able to cater to people who want to be loners. The '"Got Next" should be first come, first serve, AND in the order they step on the spot. The entire squad circles should only be considered as a "next". You move to a different court, you lose your spot. Period. Just like real life. If you want to ball with me, then get into the spot beside me. If you want to ball with your crew, then get into the squad circles, and wait for your next to come up.

Personally, they need to bring back the matchmaking they had in NBA 2K11. You selected the park, and you got matched with random people playing their TRUE position.

one problem I have is that your "shot grade" gets lowered too much for having a "slightly early" or "slightly late" shot release. like if I'm wide open with a good shooter but get a "slightly late" release, my shot grade will often be as low as a B- or a C. the grade given should be more like a B+ or A-. I mean…if you get an open shot with a good shooter, how is that a "C" just because i was a millisecond too late on my release? in my opinion, the timing of the release (late or early) lowers the shot grade too much. this is on Superstar and Hall of Fame difficulty.

I'd like to see an option to start a franchise from the current date with the current roster and curtent stats.

So I could start up a MyLeague or whatever from todays date and each team would have their real life record to this point, stats would be current, etc. Instead of starting one that starts from the start of the season and has Rondo on the Mavs and whatever else causing teams records to be significantly higher or lower than they are on todays date in real life.

I'm pretty sure they had it in the past where you could start and Association from Today Date but only during the NBA Season. Not sure why 2k get rid of some of these simple things that don't need to be removed.

MYGM MYLEAGUE TRADING:

- Bring back 3 team trades.

- Have teams designate players in categories like: untouchable, listening to offers, available, trying to dump

- Have GM's offer up guys they want to get rid of occassionally when you call them

- Have CPU GM's establish goals before each season (NBA Live did this before): Competing for a title, looking to make playoffs at all costs, looking ahead to the lottery/developing young talent.

- A lotto team won't be willing to take overpriced 30 year olds like D Will, Joe Johnson, etc. They are not willing EVER to trade away their current 1st round pick unless you're offering an absolute game changer

- A championship contender is more likely to trade away draft picks for talent

- Teams can alter their preseason plans based on team success or lackthereof as they approach the trade deadline. i.e. Nets thought they could compete but are under .500 so they are willing to rebuild and move their pieces for draft picks and cheaper contracts.

These improvements to the current trading logic would allow for more sensible cpu trading and would make the mode less unrealistic.

I remember Leftos started a thread in about March/April asking what we want from association mode.

Lots said we'd like to see teams have goals. Whether it's competing for a championship/develop youth/play for picks/shed salary etc.

This wasnt brought in, but I reckon it would get a very positive reception if it were.

Probably said before, but tune the releases so that they match the animation of jumper. The majority of the releases are too late.

most importantly: please, bring offline saves back for offline game modes! and: if the defensive player bites on a pump fake, it almost every time results in a foul. why can't i go around the defensive player who left his feet, letting him "fly by" for a wide open mid-range jump shot? thank you

Probably said before, but tune the releases so that they match the animation of jumper. The majority of the releases are too late.

i agree. i think they felt the need to make some releases late in order to have more variation between players…i get that they want to have varying release times to make each player's shot feel unique, but a lot of the release points are just unnaturally too late.

i drive by defenders all the time when they bite on pump fakes. not sure why you can't. yes, SOMETIMES an auto contact animation will happen where the player jumps into you and lands on you, but i'd say about 70 percent of the time I can drive around him and shoot a mid range shot or drive to the rim.

We should be able to take upgrade slot of our MyCareer for the VC we had spent on him but with a 10% less VC. They had this in 2k10-2k11. It would be nice for those people that create a lot of MyCareer for different reason.

I believe these are all great suggestions. But man, the one that I put in bold
is something I would really love!
There are times where I would put someone on the trading block and I would get offers that include players I wouldn't trade. For example, if I put Danny Granger on the trading block, I would sometimes get offers that include Shabazz Napier, who I have as my backup PG. If we had that option to put players as untouchable, the CPU might maybe offer me something different. Thanks so much for that suggestion!

I have a add-one to the bolded one. If playoff-teams' star players gets season ending injury, CPU GM would change his goal for the season etc. David Robinson injured 1996-1997 and Spurs drafted Tim Duncan 1. overall, Paul George out for the season.

Presentation bits: I'd like to see the camera improved in instant replay mode.....you're so limited by the angles you can take...more freedom there please...

when holding "R1" for a double team, it often just doesn't work and no teammate will come to double, or the reaction time is super delayed before they come to double. please fix this for next year. a work around for now is using the icon double team, which works every time and is very fast. so please keep the icon double team option.

ability to control "rim hanging" after dunks. like holding the button or stick makes the player hang for longer and when you release the button he lets go of the rim. obviously this would only work on certain dunk animations where rim hanging is possible and makes sense. you're obviously not going to be able to hang on the rim after one of those quick, one-handed dunks because physics doesn't allow it. i'm talking about just on the slower, two-handed dunks
