Definitely agree with bolstering the defensive side of the ball as well.

Reward good contests and defensive positioning more often.

The thing with defense is it's not totally clear how much you need to move your stick to stay in front of the player. Do you tilt a little or push all the way? One mistake and it's 2 points.


One thing that's been irking me, a pet peeve if you will, is how someone has to celebrate in some way after every basket. I mean, first layup of the game, and they run back clapping their hands or patting their chest. That early in the game, unless you dunk on someone, make a ridiculous layup, or break someone's ankles into a dunk or something exciting, they could tone down post play stuff.

And I don't remember a time in my life when I've NBA players applauding after someone gets fouled.

Gameplay just needs to me sped up overall. Watch the game in real life. The speed at which everything happens is just faster than whats in the game. Not sure if adjusting the sliders really helps anything.


And it's been said a ton, but better lighting/glare on the courts (see NBA Live).

I have found that raising the game speed and quickness alleviates that, "stuck in mud" feel the game has. I have player speed set to 0 (got it from trell) with game speed at quickness set to 60 and 65, respectively.

Arena atmosphere

-Need way more arena specific sounds. Sound in general compared to the other game is lacking.
-There are certain fans that actually travel and are vocal for the road team Knicks in Miami, Lakers fans for Kobe. Bulls fans are loud and can be found at almost any game. I have heard them louder on a road playoff game than Atlanta's fans. So you should hear cheering for them among silent home crowd just not as loud as the home crowd. I guess you can tie this to popularity of player or team. You should be able to hear them when making a run is what I am getting at.
-3rd quarter for almost every team the start of the third quarter there should be fans coming back to their seats. Watch games as the crowd is filling back in
-Late crowds arriving or crowds leaving earlier than normal like Miami

Tipped ball physics

-Can we get realistic live ball physics for tips and loose balls? I know you guys don't want to go full 2K12 live ball but we have to get something better than this.
-The ball is magnetically tied to the CPU recovering it. I was thinking of starting a compilation of all of these blocks I get that are recovered by the person who was blocked on the perimeter, it happens with steals too. It looks so unrealistic
-Blocks go back to the CPU, blocks not having physics and just behave like it is attached to some string to find its way back to the CPU hand.
-Loose balls the CPU is the only one who knows where it is at all times when loose
-Can we get a human reaction time slider for loose balls?

I Kant believe this wasn't thought of and already added to this game. But since there is no College Hoops anymore why dnt u guys add to the realism of CAP and My League and My GM by letting us add in our draft klasses award history.Meaning anyone who makes a draft klass or edits one kan and in it say The year and whatever award was won by that player while he was in school and when we r scouting in season or in the draft we kan see who won what and how many times it was won...Fully giving us the power to make the game as real as we would like.

This and my main wish which I honestly feel like they should do, is let us wear Under Armor/Reebok/Spalding, etc until we get the shoe deal. Generics shouldn't even be in the game. At all. Ever. Whoever designed them should be fired.

Add in some type of rival component to MyLeague. Certain teams and players just flat out don't like each other like the Clippers and Warriors, or Z-Bo and Blake, Kobe/Dwight. When these teams square off I want to see a little more physicality and technicals. It doesn't need to be anything over the top, just a little extra ummph! Make the "rivalries" organic. They could stem from anything from a close playoff loss to a player committing an especially hard foul on a star player. Just give us more emotion overall.

Completely overhaul accessories for mycareer.

The colors don't even match the jersey colors. Make it like 2k13 where you could buy accessories colored specifically for every team.

Add compression pants also.

Add more cyber faces

After just one season of mycareer I'm seeing the same face I'm using on every team.

Let us wear whatever shoe outside of Nike, Jordan, and Adidas on the NBA court since we don't have the option to sign with any of those other companies.

For rebounding, it'd be pretty cool if you could tip rebounds back to yourself...like kind of reaching over the guy boxing you out. Or, you see guys swat the ball back out to the 3 point line sometimes...

Auto-(defence assistance) like NCAA basketball 10,for the kid's and causal player's.

Better passing- one button needed. X (ps4 ) A(xbox1)

1. Get the rights to use Madison Square Garden and TD Garden

2. If you can't get the rights to a certain player, (Kareem in the '70 Bucks, Van Exel and Fox from the '98 Lakers) don't have them in the game. It's not fun using a couple of guys from the team.

3. Bring back The Association. This mode was so fun offline and online, it just has to be in there.

4. Take off The Park and put back Crew. The lag affect your jumpshot (for me that is) and for it to lag this bad, especially when majority of people complain about the servers doesn't make for a great mode.

5. Make people for vote the songs in the game on the 2k website. I'm sorry but I can't ball up when Lorde, Junior or No Doubt is playing. I know Pharrell is a great artist but he was the wrong guy to choose the playlist this year

Idk if these count a wishlist or a complaint, but I hope this changes for next year.

all tendencies should be shut OFF if a user is controlling that player. for example, if i'm a PG at the top of the key trying to feed the post, there should zero possibility of me getting a bounce pass, a flashy pass, or any other kind of pass besides a basic one.

if I'm a big man and i step in front of a player driving, again there should be zero possibility of me dropping on the floor trying to draw a charge.

in short, if you're going to give players controls for specific situations, dont just trigger whatever the heck you want.

Please bring back custom sounds (provided Microsoft & Sony add the capability). Go a step further and let me create my own soundtrack playlist because the last two years have been dreadful.

The real player voices were cool at first, but eventually, they get old because they say the same stuff and have that awkward posture. I would much prefer 2K add more "real" arena sounds and ambiance; lighting, rims, nets, arena specific chants, moods and player calls. Custom sounds could also help in this regard with licensed music for timeouts and action breaks.

Also, please add more stat overlays overall and a freaking free throw banner so that I can know what to expect from a player at the line.
