You can see those already in games. Maybe it's because you don't have the thing open in the top right corner that shows your player's pts, asts, and rebs and also the letter grades for certain stats. Because it is right under that. To open it you press up on the d-pad.

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
When swinging the ball around on the perimeter, it needs to be quicker...smoother. Right now, there's too long of a delay in between passes. So irritating.
Also, when showing a replay after a nice play, show the pass too. I hate when they always cut the pass out and only show the basket.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Just thought I would make my modest contribution to that thread by saying this:
Please, 2k, don't become like FIFA. Let me explain. (and I know you won't read this, it's just a figure of speech)
I'm ok with supposedly offline modes being tied with online functions like the VCs, in fact, I don't care since I will never use them. But please, really, stop putting the majority of your efforts into the online modes!!!
You're tired with the people complaining about servers and cheaters? Then make people want to play offline more. It's easier and cheaper than server maintenance. And if you say it's not, fair enough, sell your game for 100$, I would buy it, as long as it assures me I will be enjoying an excellent MyGM/MyLeague mode and excellent quick games with my friends. So far, it's very good, but without the several nonsenses and glitches I experienced, it would be excellent.
Let's be real, the people who are your most loyal customers are playing offline mostly and will NEVER pay for online modes like MyTeam or MyPark. Maybe, out of curiosity/with hope, they will try MyCareer for a season, just like I did, or play a couple of offline games that will be ruined by people who like winning/cheating more than basketball. And then what? They will turn back to the real reason they bought this game, simulation basketball, the franchise modes.
I get why you would do that, it's probably big money at the end of the year, and it's always a good thing, but it won't end well. Those new gamers, always connected, always competing, willing to pay to win, they won't play your game for ever. I don't know about the US, but in my country (France), most users are between 25 and 30 years old, which means they were here before this all-about-online era, when your first games got out.
Anyway, like I was saying, FIFA has deliberatly dropped their offline modes because people are paying a lot of extra money into this ridiculous Ultimate Team mode (= MyTeam), please don't do the same thing, I beg you, because so far, it seems that you're going into that direction."Qui parmi-nous mérite vraiment l'immortalité ?"

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Tell me, if people want competition, why do they exploit every single glitch in this game in order to assure them the W? Why do they pay to get better items when their opponents may not be able to do the same? They don't want competition, they want to crush other people, because they can't do it in real life, and that's wrong.
And if you tell me CPU isn't competition, then you're probably playing it wrong too. I've been playing NBA 2K for years, I'm still struggling against the CPU in certain diffculty level and I like it. That's the definition of competition to me.
Anyway, if 2K stays in this direction, then I'm okay with being left back. I will lend my money to somebody else.

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Here is my wishlist:
1. Get rid of 2k TV and decrease the install size
2. Make all legends playable outside of MyTeam
3. Make saving like on last gen systems. I want to be able to make multiple saves of the same franchise.
4. 10 day contracts.
5. Improved CPU roster management logic.
6. Be able to set the salary cap by dollar amount and adjustable over time (to meet new CBA levels)
7. Start Today My League feature. Man do I really miss this. I normally don't start a realistic Timberwolves franchise until after the deadline to make the appropriate moves and it's tough to not only get the correct stats but also records. It's impossible to get the Hawks at a top 2 seed.
Those are the most pressing issues for me in no particular order.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Bring online associations back, 2k doesn't even have to upgrade it from what it was on 2k13, just make it functional on this gen of consoles.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Each year, people are disappointed because of the online gameplay, and where do you think these people go when they're tired of it? Either they play another game or they play offline. Check the forum, look how many second handed NBA 2K games can be found out there, most of the complaints are against/because of online modes. Sometimes it's the gameplay, sometimes it's the cheese, sometimes the servers... So yeah, thanks to the online modes, more and more people buy NBA 2K games each year, but what about the players who were here at the beggining and are still buying the game?

That's what people do in EVERY game probably since the beginning of gaming. But you can't look at that and think that everyone exploits. People want to win more than anything that's why exploits are a thing that's part of why people buy teams because in some cases getting better players gets you closer to that W. That's great that you love the computer's challenge but alot of people don't. For example I avoid the computer like the plague because of so much BS the computer does. You may feel its competition some feel like it's broken computer gameplay.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Better recognition. By this I mean maybe it's the coding, but something needs to be done about this part of the game. The game at times refuses recognize what's happening on the court.
Example:
1. Computer blatantly pulls my guy by the shoulder and drags him out the air. My guy loses the ball and no foul is called. On top of that it becomes either a turnover or a steal and in mycareer that makes you drop a letter grade and then some.
2. I guard my guy but because my AI teammate can't get his the game changes my defensive assignment to the other guy who is far from me and then blames me when he score.
3. Blatant backcourt violations that don't get called as long as you pass the ball fast enough to a guy up the court.
4. Directional passing. I point the stick left and pass but my guy throws it in front of him even though that's not where I told him to pass it.
5. I go through a animation where my guy falls on the floor on my basket and as the ball is being pushed up court im penalized on my teammate grade for leaving my assignment even though I can't control my guy.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
Well if 2k stopped caring for online alot of people won't even buy it. Online is important for any sports game because people want to play with friends. The problem with the game isn't just online. Alot of people's favorite 2k features online play and that was the main reason why it was the best. People from the beginning also play online. Are you implying people who've been with 2k since the beginning only care about offline?

Not at all. Just saying 2k should not focus ONLY on the online aspects of this game. Just trying to prove my point, which is that 2K should give as much time to work on offline modes as they give working on online modes. Offline modes are good this year, but could be far more than just good, few things makes me think they overlooked the offline modes. And after the release, same analysis.
I'm not really against online playing, I play online in other games. I would even play 2k online modes if people were really playing basketball there. Well, except MyTeam because I don't like the concept, just my opinion. Anyway, I'm not saying every single online player does not know how to play correctly, hopefully some like basketball more than just winning, but they are a minority.Last edited by Damien7; 03-03-2015, 08:50 AM."Qui parmi-nous mérite vraiment l'immortalité ?"

Yea that part sucks that you have to deal with 7 foot SF or play with guys who only zig zag and shoot 3s. But I think that's part of what needs to be fixed offline. I think people don't play BASKETBALL online because they never have to do it in game offline. For example mycareer forces you to be the star and makes your teammates dumb so that you have to do everything. Everyone has to score a ton just to get a win and they carry that mentality online. Also 2k suffers from having animations in the wrong situations and not in the right ones. For example the hesitation when you didn't move the stick to hesitate or the fact that people do picks in the paint to avoid getting boxed out. I think if they focus on gameplay it tremendously will improve both online and offline. You always hope someone wants to play sim but until they force you to play basketball instead of nba jam you'll have a hard time finding sim players.Comment
