Every arena does not sound the same. Fans are doing all kinds of things these days, as well as the sound conductors. The Miami Heat fans have been doing the "Oh, oh, o, o, oh," chant for a few years now. It's time to put it in the game.

Player choice at tip off
During that show off pan of the arena at the start of every game, we should be allowed to select the player we want to jump at tip off. KENDRICK PERKINS DOE NOT JUMP AT TIP OFF!

Shot selections should be pressure sensative & power receptive
There are 3 types of jumpshots in basketball. The set shot. The jumpshot and the jumpshot on the move. When taking a WIDE open jumpshot, players take their time and sometimes slow their release to measure the shot perfectly and to hold there follow through. If this type of shot were a reflection of button or stick pressure, it would be represented by a longer full press or hold of the button/stick. A quicker press & release for jump shots and a quicker press, release and left stick direction for any moving jumper. Left, right, back for moving fadeaways and FORWARD for leaners and lane floaters.

STOP CHANGING THE CONTROLS
Madden's controls have been a staple in the game since conception. Take a page from their book and maintain some consistency so consumers no what to expect. NBA 2k13 was the best control pad setup for moves and dribble moves.

Camera angles and action equality
The action for 2k camera angle is not equal to that of the other angles. All camera angles should provide the same spacing and visibilty in its' own viewpoint.

Here's one small gameplay thing that's been driving me nuts for years. I'll state the possible fix and then explain.

Disable the right stick shot mechanic from rebounds right under the defensive boards.

I use right and left stacks playing defense. When the opponent takes a shot and I'm still playing a defender, and my CPU teammate rebounds the ball, the split second latency of how the game receives controller input interprets the actions of the defender I was controlling as inputs for the player who just took the rebound.

The result, maybe 2-3 times per game, is a full court shot from my rebounder under the defensive basket, a full court heave.

Drives me nuts, year after year. The fix is to really stop using the right stick on defense, limiting me top just the left stick and turbo trigger. But when you do that, without mixing in some right stick shuffles and cutting off opponent movement, is momentum ice skating all over the court like some kind of hummingbird on meth.

On the higher levels superstar/hall of fame/ give us extra defense boost for playing good.
Like if we get a couple of steals blocks at keys moment we should be rewarded.

One more thing 2k16 needs no more buttons/trigger playing defence.
What I mean let good defenders automatic move to stay in front of the person there guarding.

Let the great defenders automatic play it's own intense defense.
We need denfence on the higher levels.

I like this suggestion. I want elite defenders to "feel" like it when I'm controlling them. It should be easier for me to guard LeBron with Kawhi Leonard. He should body up more and visually "stick" to ballhandlers better than an average defender.

Need to capture players' skinny legs better, as well as the lankiness of players. Too many guys in 2k15 have too thick of legs.

Brandon Knight's (and many other) legs, especially calves/ankles) are way to big in 2k.

I've been looking at passing, and I see some issues I hope can be cleaned up for 2k16.

For icon passing, where you specifically select the player to receive the pass using his tag from the right bumper, passes into the paint are very bad. But passing to the player with the right bumper/right stick combo gives you a better, contextually appropriate pass trajectory in relation to the situation on the floor.

However, the right bumper/right stick combo doesn't always work when you want it to. The input window is so sensitive that at times you just end up with a display of the players' icon buttons, a shot fake and no pass.

I would like to see the passing system using player icons allow for smarter passing that does not so often lead to turnovers when passing down low.

As it is now, to passing to cutters is pretty dicey, not just because passes into the paint are risky, but because the controls don't work as they should to allow for the user controlled player to make a play based on the situation on the floor and the ratings of the passer and intended receiver.

Of course flashy passes are an option, and when they work, they are quick to execute. Higher risk, of course.

The problem with player icon passing is it takes longer to execute. By the time you get the receiver icon up and then input again to execute the pass, your passing window may be over. Using right bumper/right stick method is faster and cleaner, if only it would work more reliably.

If passing using the A button (XB1) and the right stick would make better contextual passes, not just straight line ducks waiting to be stolen, that would also help. As it is now, that passing mechanic is only useful for direct passes where no defender is anywhere near the passing lane.

I'll start with a minor thing but it's something I've been wanting to be in the game for a long time... Ability to make any broadcast stadium camera your default one.

Tipped passes need to go in a desired location, or at least make them realistic.

Gameplay just needs to me sped up overall. Watch the game in real life. The speed at which everything happens is just faster than whats in the game. Not sure if adjusting the sliders really helps anything.


And it's been said a ton, but better lighting/glare on the courts (see NBA Live).

Make playing defense fun in 2k16....there's no balance....you guys are favoring offense too much..
