Appreciate the efforts. Not telling you how to do your job because, well, that's just a stupid thing to do. However I've noticed, as I am sure you have, you could increase 3's taken by removing that slide that happens when catching the ball. I figure I see about 6 or so shots per team that should have been 3's that were foot on the line 2's happen each game. I think the ai wants to shoot a 3 but there is an animation where the recipient slides ahead a foot or so and then it's a very long 2. Same with shot fakes and certain jump shot bases. The player just moves their feet ahead, usually touching or going over the line.
Please just increase off ball fouls. That'd be the best thing for 2K going forward. It's such a huuuuuge part of basketball and it's not really a thing in the 2K series. Teams get into bonus time from off ball fouls more often than from guys driving or shooting fouls. Regardless of your methods I think there can't be too many fouls. As long as people can adjust sliders to tailor to their liking. I'd prefer to see 30+ free throws a team per game with sliders at like 75. That way we can go up even higher (allowing for more flexible roster edits and bad no-calls!) or lower it as we as individuals see fit.
