    Re: Players unnecessarily falling...

This happens in 2k14 as well. Honestly, i think it's a simple result of 2k exaggerating things like they have a tendency to. It's like they finally implemented players falling down into the game, and they got so excited about the feature they decided to have it happen waaay too much lol.

Makes me think of the one year when they noticed rondo do a dream shake a few times, and then i noticed he started doing that all the damn time in the game.

This and when my Bigs try to take a charge instead of just going up when i have it set on play physical are the two most annoying things idk which is worse tho.

I remember it b/c I play big man in teamup last year too. Seems like having hands up INCREASES the chances of this happening .

It almost feels like their are trying to draw charges...but it's not implemented properly. It works in the paint as I've seen a good amount of charges, but on the perimeter it just looks silly seeing them just "flop" to the ground

Yea cpu just runs over my big man all the time. Id at least like to,be able,to,contest or foul the guy. On the other end idk if anybody else has seen it but the cpu is taking charges inside the restricted area and getting the call. I dunk on ssomebody standing under the bucket and i get hit with a charge smh

Another thing I notice is that you hardly get called for charging. By that i mean all the charges seem to be computer generated and you hardly get called for playing good defense by taking charges. Maybe i haven't produced one but it seems it is pretty lacking.
I've gotten called quite a lot for charging. Layups have improved this year. Definitely gotta be careful. I've also got in front and got a few charges against the opponent. Usually on a fast break. I get down fast and if I see there is a size difference like a big man going up, I'll draw the charge. Or if there is no one for them to pass to I'll attempt a charge call.

Seems like it happens 3-4 times a game where you'll be playing D, you beat a offensive player to his spot, but you'll just fall back when they make contact, allowing him to score.

Same with players going up for a layup….it could be Rondo going up on Ibaka, and Rondo will knock Ibaka back like a bowling pin when he’s going into the start up animation.

What's the reasoning behind this? Doesn't seem ratings based at all...just random.

I just saw this. Bogut beat Afflalo and had perfect position to contest the shot.

                    No way it's going in.

Bogut falls down and Afflalo makes a contact layup. Riiiight.

I'm not sure what the team AI is doing. Flopping? Of course it doesn't happen if you go ramming into the CPU.

I do like that the AI draws charges fairly often, though. Maybe a few BS ones here and there but there are BS calls in the real NBA too.

Ah yes, when players fall like bowling pins, cant stand when it happens, does not look right at all.

I dont think ive seen this. Or maybe im just not noticing it. Can someone post a vid? I like the paint animations though. The players dunk in traffic a lot less often because of them now. I havent seen it at all on the perimeter. I especially like when the ball flies out of my hands sometimes when i try to dunk in traffic. Although the foul calls are lacking. The computer literally threw Pau Gasol on the ground to the point he now has a pinched nerve in his back the other day and it was a no call

Yes. I just had Ramon Sessions bowl over Bogut in the paint. Of course he made the contact layup. :P
