Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
That shouldn't almost ever happen on the perimeter unless it's from hitting a screen or ankle breaking.Last edited by Sundown; 10-16-2015, 01:34 PM.Comment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
My theory behind why the flops happen is that when the cpu feels it's been beat, or that the player you are controlling has been beat, the last line of defense is to flop and hope for a charge call. I assume it has something to do with the take charge tendency, or maybe even that combined with defensive ratings etc.
It's pretty lame.Comment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
Man I'm so happy you made this thread!! Sick and tired of this sh** like you can't just bulldoze over somebody it doesn't matter if they have position or not and also the fact that they run you over and still have momentum normally both players would fall over but wtvComment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
I think 2k did their homework on this. it's super accurate to real life. In the NBA game players are always falling and trying to get calls. I got a call from Tony Allen defending CP3. But on the play before that CP3 pushed off on Allen and he was left wide open for the game tying 3. I think it's happening on both sides. Sometimes you'll get one in your favor other not.
ymmv but I see more balance then not this year compared to last year.Comment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
Animations make it happen. There's no contest animation so your player just falls down to let it play out. It's like Maddens old gang tackling back in Madden 11.Comment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
I like some players falling over, but cmon. It's too much. And Ive only seen 1 charge called in the 100 or so games Ive played.
Here is JJ Barea sending Marc Gasol sprawling.

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
Holy Wtf moment...glad you got a vid for this. I've seen players warp back up too standing positions like that but I've never seen the act of stealing the ball while warping back up.Comment

Re: Players unnecessarily falling...
I love it... It's super realistic. Watch any basketball game. You'll see guys on the fall through the game. Allen Iverson is on the ground all the time.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories
