Nope. I'm 6-3 and never played organized ball (high school, college) but mostly pickup. I would set screens and focus on rebounding and defense and hit an occasional jumper. But I mostly played closer to the rim so I created a defensive PF, but there's no way I was going to be 6-3. So my guy is 6-10, which is what most PFs are.

When I play Road to the Show in MLB The Show, I create myself to scale. I did play organized baseball all the way through high school so I feel more like I am creating myself for baseball. In the NBA, the way I played in pickup games I would be more of a PF than a guard (I have ZERO handles in real life).

Im 6'0 and a big guy... So that wouldnt work in the NBA.. I like shooting the 3 ball though so I go and create a 6'5" 225lb SG.. I can help crash the glass and also be there to take the 3 when needed..

If I make a PG I use my normal height, any other position I'll make myself a little taller. I'm 6'2.5"

I don't even play as myself. I make up some guy and use him. I see myself everyday, I don't need to see myself in a video game too. It creeps me out.

I'm 5'5" but the shortest I can make my player is 5'7". I never had a problem playing against people taller than me and creating and playing with a short PG is fun. I don't play in the park because everyone in there has to play as 7'0", probably because they couldn't ball at their real height.

"Why play as your height when you dont play as your actual skillset"

as the other guy said, i actually set my personal character with my real life abilities. i never max anything out but i do add a bit of riods to keep things competitve. my max in most cases is 80-85. but this is also why this year upgrades ystem pissed me off, i hated that certain things were auto upgraded.

"im surprised people hate playing as point"

in real life i dont mind being a point but i rather play without the ball in my hands for most of the game. i can still act like the floor general. in a way since the smart players will listen. the only time i will absoluetly run the point is when i see that everything is falling apart and i have to run the game @ my own pace in order to get everyone back in tune.

it seems like im doing this ALOT in the park due to how many people love chucking up stupid *** shots early in the clock. when players allow me to run the point, we end up doing better if not winning. since i can use my BBALL IQ to determine what happens next. of course i cant control who plays D tho <_<

Someone mind helping me out? Does shoulder with & wingspan actually do anything for your player? Or is it just for looks?

Also. Will driving to the hoop with a 217 PH be any better than doing the same with a 197 PG? Is weight actually a factor?

Nope. I'm a growing 14-year-old kid so I just go by my older brother's height of 6'4" in shoes.

Yes. 5'11 PG, though sometimes I make a 6'1 SG

                        No bc I'm 6'4 so I'm the annoying swing guard that's in between a 1 and a 2.
