I'm not a big tech guy but I'm pretty sure the PING @ 77ms + 1% packet loss isn't good.

Packet loss should be 0% and PING should be closer to 20-30...right?

1% is acceptable packet loss. 77ms is pretty solid.

Not always, but I'm wired. The connection is always consistent, never lags. Never had a problem with the delay until this 2k.

              Just wanted to get clarification.

When people talk about having problems with the "input delay," are they talking about button-press delays (pass button, shoot button, pulling up icons, etc), or are they talking about the player movement in general?

Each player also has his own internet connection with it's own upload and download speed. If one player is streaming while playing or has everyone in their house using wifi off the same internet connection it could affect the game.

That's probably why you see differences each game. Everyone's connection is unique.

I've also understood that the type of tv someone plays on could affect the timing of shooting since what you see on the screen may not render precisely to the timing it actually occurs.
Bro. My TV has VyperDrive. Which is supposed to decrease all lag input for games. It's a Sharp.

My internet connection is also hard wired. I also turn all my wifi devices off before I play & I get 50MBPS...I

I'm running this game the best possible way, with the best possible specs to get a perfect game connection and I still experience input lag.

I go for a block and it takes at least 1 full second for my player 2 react. Along with moving from left to right. It's like I press left and it waits for the command THEN moves.

It MAY be since these past 2ks have been connected online wheter you're on or off the game is on some type of server and it may be affecting control at this point. Like the delay in the 2k server causes delay in the input. That's the only thing that really makes sense. A lot of games are online now and they're not this bad at all.

                  Button delay, mainly online though.

Buttons, sticks, triggers, you name it, online and offline.

C'mon, let's not kid ourselves about the problem being on the user's end. The first thing we all do is make sure our internet is legit.

The online input lag is just flat out inexcusable. It's considerably worse than last year, which itself was bad. I play a variety of games online, and 2K consistently has the worst input lag. I can play sports games like Madden or extremely time-sensitive shooters like Call of Duty, and the input delay is rarely an issue. It's also disappointing because they had all these pre-release interviews discussing server improvements at length which were just flat out lies.

This. It's not just the buttons. And it's not just online.

I dont think offline is bad at all, but online is the worst lag in any game ive ever played. I wouldnt mind so much but with shot timing being the most important factor this is simply unacceptable

My jumpshots and movement online feels a little bit delayed too. Can barely get a good release.

It sucks your having issues however it does sound like a minority issue not an all round issue as plays flawlessly for everyone I know.

I do hope 2k listen and get it fixed though its a great game when working well and everyone should get t experience it.

Have they replied to any of your tickets about the issue and what have they been saying about it?
