which sliders are the best?

I can't make up my mind which sliders are the best. Everybody has an opinion on who has the realist sliders. please tell me which one I should use.

What I did is test some of the top sliders with a quick game. I then changed and combined some of the sliders. For example I keep over the back foul at 50/50 because I noticed it was being called too much

Best slider set available right now IMO, I've tried them all in the slider section and with a few tweaks this one for me provided the best combination of stats / gameplay.

To be honest most sliders suck

u just have to combine most of them honestly

sometimes I see good sliders but then I see some crap like 50/50 offensive rebounding both user cpu lol

I have my own sliders now and im really lovin em but never posted them

Grow up man. Honestly (as you put it) there is no place for BS posts like this. Takes a lot of nerve.

Have you tested your settings over the course of dozens upon dozens of games and put in countless hours upon hours to come to this conclusion? Do you really think some of us who post slider sets are trying to make them universal? Do you really think slider makers claim to have this under the hood knowledge of the game? We are gamers like everyone else just sharing our settings. Nothing more, nothing less. We are trying to help the community and take a lot of work off the plates of gamers so they can jump in and start playing.


Use the sliders as a base and tweak them to your playing style. That is what most slider makers understand and tell anyone. We try to help players get a starting point to make obtaining custom settings easier. We test the crap out of the game for you. Because we are passionate about the hobby.

And sometimes some settings are perfectly fine on default. You don't have to have values all over the board to make them "genuine looking". If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Sheesh man it's post's like yours that make me wonder why I even read the 2K forums. It's why I typically stay away from this sub forum. I will crawl back to The Show/Madden forums where we can talk like adults and the members there actually appreciate the incredible roster makers and slider guys who are just sharing idea's and settings for the further enjoyment of the game.

Ridiculous. Just flat out ridiculous.

It's whatever feels right to you. There is no better or worse. It is all personal preference and how you approach the game. Which set matches your play style.

That is the secret sauce. Enjoy the game.

In my opinion, I think Kay Otic's sliders are the best. But honestly, it's just how they play for you. For exampl, I think A&S Madden sliders are the best but I feel his 2K sliders don't give me enough of a challenge. All you need to do is to pick one that plays pretty well for you then tweak it until it plays perfect for you.

It's not really about that man. It's how you speak. I don't share sliders for any other reason than to help people try and get a sweet spot or a base to work from to help them enjoy a game. I could care less what anyone thinks of them. It's not about that. It's about being a community and helping each other out.

If you had posted what I bolded in the first place....we wouldn't be having this exchange.

Your first post was down right craptastic. That's what I am pointing out.

i dont really believe in all the slider sets made by different slider gurus on here anymore. i feel like the fewest of them really do sufficient testing and in the end they'll end up being biased anyways cos everybody has a different perception of the game. there might be very few consensual changes that should be made and really improve the gameplay for everyone but in the end it's what you prefer.
i have been in slider hell for years, reading through slider threads, combining slider sets and by the time i found good settings i grew tired of the games.
now i go with default sliders or a default sim set if it's available and maybe very few to no changes. and guess what I'm having more fun playing than ever.

let 2k come with a great game out the box instead of creatin all

You sure have a lot to say, and a lot of criticism to dish out.

The defense strength sliders, when increased, cause more contested shots and contested shot animations. Lowering them does the opposite, and makes contesting less effective.

As for 2K creating a "great" game out of the box, they have done that. However, what slider makers do is try to push the limits and make the game even better. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. If you like default with the small tweaks you made, then so be it.

Enjoy the game instead of taking pointless jabs at everybody else. Happy Holidays.
