yep…that's it. it's amazing to finally be able to control these "moving catches". for so many years the catch animation would automatically cause the receiver to stop moving and plant his feet.

No one forced you to read any of my responses earlier (including this one), but you did, disagreed with what I said , and responded to it....and that's fine...this is a forum...not a new concept.

I was just suggesting putting them in the thread built for feedback instead of putting them in multiple threads....especially when it's the same complaint (sometimes word for word) you've posted multiple times, or isn't on topic....not every thread is an itemized complaint thread..

I think everyone will acknowledge that stupid hesitation animation needs to go.

No one forced you to read any of my responses earlier (including this one), but you did, disagreed with what I said , and responded to it....and that's fine...this is a forum...not a new concept.

I was just suggesting putting them in the thread built for feedback instead of putting them in multiple threads....especially when it's the same complaint (sometimes word for word) you've posted multiple times, or isn't on topic....not every thread is an itemized complaint thread..

Some of these guys just can't help but post over and over....

Yeah I believe the attempt to fix gameplay issues is heavly based off online abusers.

That animation would be cool if it was triggered when you quickly release the left stick when moving. It would make sense.

Why is it that when i try to double team Lebron my guys only stand there and not trying to swat the ball or do something because Lebron's back is to the basket? The guys doing the double was just standing there around him doing nothing...it's just stupid.

From what Ive seen, they got rid of it in the patch.

But for me its cropped up again as Im taking off in the backcourt.

I think the game would seem much less stale if the crowd was alive. The crowd is completely non reactant to any chants. No matter what team you play for, until the games final moments you feel like your playing for the worst team in the league with nobody in the stands.

I agree with this 100%

Next year if they can put a concerted focus on the crowd this game would be awesome.

I actually play the "other game" because the atmosphere is awesome. It really does change the game.

Kind of like real life.

I swear I play a different game than most.

1.Cpu dribbles the ball till the last few seconds and hits circus shots with consistency. Either behind the back or another animation that cant be interrupted and shot attempt. I play great onball defense.

2. They dont play basketball majority of the time. Its lets play the animation game. Lets make you slide(momentum), fall off the rails for an easy bucket.

3. Cpu bigs can score off putbacks and other post moves with consistency. My bigs are useless, any cpu defender within 5 feet forces weird animations. No point doing post moves, cpu picks the ball no matter the defender.

4. Suction cup 50/50 balls for the cpu. I play superb defense and never get rewarded. Rare time I do all 5 cpu players are back before I cross the half court line or get bumped animation. Majority of suction cup 50/50 balls lead to easy cpu points because teammates are out of place and love to leave people wide open.

5. Hands flying through balls. Dont even need to dig into that. Horrible band aid fix to to many blocks in past games. Still want to know who approved this.

6. Cpu in general is just predictable.



7. Biggest issue. All teams play exactly alike. No team is different. They got the player animations down pack(have been that way for years) but teams are very similar.

8. Defense is blah and very unrewarding. I feel no difference between Lock down perimeter/post defenders and scrubs. Fastbreak defense(user team) is just horrible.

Stale is the perfect world that describes this game. Anyone who doesnt see these issues are very lucky people. Wish I had blinders.

I dont blame 2k though. I blame online players who ruined the game for the others.

Why I play. Need my bball fix. Its an abusive relationship and I keep coming back.

Nothing about this game feels organic. All predetermined.

I don't see any of those things at all.
1. I see the CPU shoot with different times left on the clock not just last few seconds. Some times CPU shoots with 5 seconds on shoot clock other times 10 other times 20 ect.
2. I see the CPU doing a lot of pick and roles and a lot of ball movment so they play great basketball
3. I have seen the CPU miss pletty of lose type of shoots.
4. Again I don't see and that was a big issue last year has last year like ever time you would block a shoot the CPU would get the ball back and score no matter what.
5. I have seen some hands though balls but very few and all sports games have issues with parts of players going throw onther players or the ball.
6. The CPU Is far form predectable
7. Could be better but some teams will shoot more jump shoots then others and some will try to score in the paint some.
8. Kind of like 7 could be better but I wouldn't say you cant tell any difference at all like you say.


I have to say I think you just suck at the game and are made about it because I don't see any of those things at all or not has much has you say or even close.

If this game - which has some of the best developers and highly respected talent from the user community working on it - is considered too stale and basic, what basketball game is considered more dynamic? I get the game may not appeal to everyone, but some of the complaints leveled on it by the fringe are way too extreme imo

So 24 i have a honest question. Is it ok to have the same compliment, but not ok to have the same complaint?

Why is it ok for a user to get banned for repeating a complaint or making a thread about a complaint, but not ok for a user to get banned for making multiple compliments? I mean like you said, no one forces anyone to read any responses.

I know one response will be.....so tje board doesn't get cluttered. But wouldnt it get cluttered with just compliment/praise responses anyway?

Here me out here. I've been playing 2K15 PS4 for about a month here and the thing I notice most is how basic and stale the gameplay is. It's just really hard to imitate some real life play style.
