Unfortunately I still have no possible solutions for you as the problem has yet to be found and fixed.

Thank you for sharing that. I don't play this mode that the OP is talking about, but I got tired of playing offline and tried online quick match. I don't have a word to describe the distaste I experience while playing online. I recently played 4 online games and tried to rate the lag on a scale of 1-5. Every single game ranged between a 4-5. I play many other games online, including Madden, and I never experience lag the way I do with 2k. It's hard enough trying to get shot releases and timing down offline. I won't pay full price for 2k16 if the servers are not improved and/or lobbies are not added. I suggest if you are not happy with the online portion of 2k and feel the same, DON'T PURCHASE 2k16. I mean the least 2k could do is add lobbies, or make it so you can see the connection strength at team select screen so you can quit the game if you come across a bad connection.

Are the numbers low because people know that they might not be able to play a game that has online features? It doesn't matter what the game is. If it has online features, modes, and connectivity, gamer's should be able to play without any issues period. Bottom line.

How about now! Lets organise a my park and rec boy cott. In rec its simple you stand on got next alone and go idle. In park you take 3 friends travel to another park win and have 2 back off and 1 stays idol shutting down that park. We could put a unified message on the backs of our jersers. "i would be playing OA' or "bring back lobbys". Just throwing ideas out there its better then complaing.

I have something in the works regarding precisely what you have laid out. I have tried every other method but the petition method. Goes to show that I'm not as competent a community organizer as I am competent playing the game we all love against elite sim competition. But you're right...the time has come to get out of the fishbowl of OS circle jerk complaining amongst ourselves and put pen to paper in a formal address/petition to 2k. Expect something soon on this front.

I can't speak for others, and I rarely post here anymore because it's slowly becoming the 2K forums and that saddens me, but just from my own experience, whenever I try to play online, I always have a smooth connection and game.

From Vs. ranked matches, games against friends, or the very rare occasion I play MyTeam, I normally have a pretty smooth connection. If I have any hiccups or lag, it's minimal and doesn't last long at all.

So, not everyone is putting on their "2K defender capes" , some of us really do have a different experience.

I can't speak for my opponents connection, unless I'm just playing a game Vs. a friend. Other than that, this is just from my perspective, my connection when playing this game online is pretty damn good.

what Defensive assist strength and Boxout Assist strength is??? I know its suppose to help guide you in some way but I never really understood what exactly turning it from 0 to 100 or 100 to 0 is suppose to do? Is it just a placebo effect or does it really matter. What are the games default settings for these?

Like Gos says, I normally have a good connection when playing online; the only time I had any major problems like connecting, staying connected or severe lag was when the PSN attack happened. Keep in mind, I only play online 2-3(Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) times a week, but when I do it's fairly smooth sailing.
