    Glad that helps.

You'll have to find a way to strike the right balance of CPU sliders that fit what you want your team to do, but at the same time, you don't want to make all your opponents mirror your own style too much or your games and matchups will get boring. So my advice would be to find the right overall set for what you want and then fine tune tendencies by players on your roster to customize how you want your team to behave.

    Good luck!

i read somewhere that zerolising all the defensive tendencies (eg. contest, steal etc) of the players in the roster will help lessen the 'sliding' motion of the players in gameplay, and allowing u to have better control where u want the players to go i.e. to register better when defending. that was probably 2k13. is this still applicable in today's 2k15 human to cpu play mode?

I haven't tried it myself, but I think I remember someone in the slider threads this year talking about trying it, and it had too many side effects that broke other elements of sim play.

To me, once you have your overall slider set down, the best way to minimize the sliding is to tweak game speed and defensive assist.

The sliding is a by product of animations weaving together without enough smoothness or fine motions in between larger movements, so there's only so much we can do about it.

The best way to minimize is, first, to set up your slider so that the extreme animations don't occur with a high probability, as in when momentum takes over and PG's used to barrel over bigs into the lane knocking the bigs over like they were paper dolls for the dunk. That happened a lot more in last year's game, but it can happen in 2k15 if the sliders aren't sim based and customized to your skill level.

This animation's weaving together issue is why the team works on adding so many new animation each year, not they they are all flashy or "highlight" style animations, but just more ways to weave a more continuous movement set of options together.

Of course, we experience sliding the most on defense, and that still needs a good deal of work for 2k16 (also lots of catch the ball animations). But lowering defensive assist as far as you can handle it for your skill level helps as well. I used to have it at zero, but then I found that it made the defensive player a little too "twitchy" jumping around playing on ball defense around the ball handler like a hummingbird with the slightest of stick inputs. Setting it a little bit above zero does help smooth this out a little. I forget, but I think I have it at 10 or 15.

ANyone got any tips on getting MJ into the post whilst in the triangle without using plays?

He normally just floats on the perimeter/top of the triangle.

This is not a gameplay thing, but teach me how to get the ball handler's name to display under him. It always show's my gamertag. If I change it to Number & Position, it correctly shows something like PG#10. But if it's on Name, my gamertag shows, not the player's name. I'd much rather see the name than number/position.

Set your POE to Play through MJ or feed the post if he's (one of) your best post player(s). Depending on where he's positioned there's usually an option to get him to the post.

I have created many CAPs and tried them and fiddled around with their tendencies but none seem to be ready to drive?? They just pass the ball or take bad shots. Sometimes when they do drive the stop even when they can dunk. The best I could do was CAP using Dunk the funk Gerald green and he would do Iso moves and get past the defenders all the time but he never dunked! Only lay ups even after having lay up tendencies low and driving dunk, contact dunk high.

Could it be that all the badges I am giving him cancelling certain moves like acrobat, fade ace? Could it be the play book or could it be just that the team is really bad spacing the floor?

Can someone please guide me how to create a slashing cap sg or sf for 76ers. He has to Iso frequently and dunk. It is for my own entertainment. I play league through CPU vs CPU. Thanks!
Shot in the dark but does he have dunk packages assigned? If he doesn't he won't dunk.

You can also throw it to the flasher at the high post and when MJ cuts, get it to him early and he'll be at the midrange post area - a spot where he hit probably 95% of his shots in the twilight of his career.

i've trying out this with the knicks:
                                1. poe play through anthony
                                2. triangle with freelance (not motion cuts)

i would say there is fair mix of low post (cutting from the weak side), mid range jumpers (coming from baseline screen), and high post play.

one thing i like abt triangle freelance play is that its less repetitive (and less predictive) than motion cuts. i also notice carmelo tends to have a step back animation just before he catch the ball at the spots (elbow, top of key, and corner 3). when this happens and i saw the defender is caught sleeping on defense, shoot it.

carmelo triple threat at the high post is deadly with these moves - jab step, fake the shot and drive or just shoot from the post.
