Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
anyone have an issue with right stick defense not doing anything after the opponent goes up for a shot? all the time the guy im controlling just kinda sits there and i think the game is registering the shot as non contested even tho my defender is right thereComment

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
I look for the players feet to start going down, right when they go down if you release it you will generally get a slightly early or perfect release.

He barely touched on the defense IMO. I'm gonna see if I can find the articles I've read to explain the principles.Good explanation of ICE

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
i remember reading some where that the automatic contest is bad. that its the equivalent of letting the cpu contest the shot themselves which usually is an automatic make for hof cpu.

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
I really understand that . That's why I put it on manual. I also wanted full control of my player . But then I started seeing issues with my hands up feature not always working , more delayed reactions , etc... So I said why put myself at a disadvantage ? I feel I can contest with it on and it helps me with some of the delay online#1 Laker fan

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
Ice is done to shrink the floor. Used primarily as a side pick and roll defense by teams that want to force the ball baseline.
The problem with it in the game is the lack of help defense and rotations. So the defense doesn't work correctly.Comment

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
I wanted to ask help for following situation:
I started a Myleague with the Wolves.. the first year i can send Wiggins to Post Up easily with the quick plays.
Yet when KAT arrives in year two i cant figure out a way to call a Post up play for Wiggins.
Any solition for that?
many thanks!Comment

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
You can't edit the targets on quick plays. The CPU chooses based on who's on the floor.I wanted to ask help for following situation:

The best way to handle this is to have a very quick post up play in your playbook, assign it to Wiggins, make sure it is on his first page of plays, and use that.Comment

Re: OS: Teach Me How Thread
Question regarding signature moves- It is my understanding that many players in the game have signature moves that can be used if you are on the correct area of the floor and input the appropriate controls.
Is there any way I can see a players signature move and how/where on the floor to use it?
Thank you in advance!Comment
