Re: Confirmed Classic Teams for NBA 2k16
All that said, I think that legend exists in large part due to his finest moments. He wasn't much of a lock-down defender and at 6'7'', you couldn't even count on him for four rebounds a night, but when he did what he did best, it was oftentimes memorable (frequently against New York).
Also, in terms of 2K fans, I think he and Charles Barkley get extra attention simply because they're two of the only stars remaining from recent history who haven't been included in 2K yet (unless we count Barkley's Dream Team appearance in 2K13). If Miller had been in since 2K12 and David Robinson were missing, I think we'd all just be clamoring for the Admiral instead.Comment

2000 Raptors and 2008 Rockets, folks. https://twitter.com/NBA2K/status/631903089616773121
2K had mentioned before that there'd be three repeats (since they were never officially unveiled before). 2000 Raptors is one of those repeats.
2008 Rockets
Tracy McGrady
Yao Ming
Shane Battier
Dikembe Mutombo
Luis Scola
Rafer Alston
Bobby Jackson
Chuck Hayes
Carl Landry
Luther Head
Aaron Brooks
Steve Novak

Re: Confirmed Classic Teams for NBA 2k16
I think there could be a case for Miller being overrated. His shooting was as good as advertised, but as an entire player, I'm not sure he was as well-rounded as many of his contemporaries for which he is often mentioned amongst. He was great, but I admit it's been interesting to watch his legend grow a bit as time passes.

No doubt its a debatable discussion, but who has over hyped him? He is a player that averaged 18 points a game and is arguably one of the best 3pt shooters and clutch shooters of all time, With that said I would not put him in a top 5 greatest SG of all time list, but when you think Pacers basketball the name Reggie Miller comes to mind almost automatically even to this day, cant disregard that.
But overall his sister was still a better overall player then he was lol.Comment

Re: Confirmed Classic Teams for NBA 2k16
He's not even a top 50 player of All-Time, he and Mitch Richmond made the HoF too quickly IMO, great shooter but pretty one dimensional. He has a reputation as a clutch player because of famous exploits but people act like he didn't have some of his worst games in elimination games and he had one of the worst games of his career in the 2000 Finals.
I rather have more elite/championship 2000's teams, a Pistons team with prime Grant Hill, '99 Knicks, '99 Heat. Among other teams than Reggie Miller.Comment

Nice to have 2 version of T.Mac, one young as a Raptor and here with the Rockets. Still not peak years, but its great to have him in game. I think Steve Francis was on the 2008 Rockets roster, but just for like 10 games. Hope we get also him included.
So, situation right now:
1. 1999-2000 Portland Trail Blazers
2. 2002-2003 Dallas Mavericks
3. 1999-2000 Toronto Raptors
4. 2007-2008 Houston Rockets
5. 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers (not officially unveiled)
6. 2007-2008 Boston Celtics (not officiallyunveiled )
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
6 left. Hope for some love of the 80s scoring machine like Alex English, Adrian Dantley or Bernard King. But i think there is more request for 90s and 2000s teams.
Well, cant wait to have the game and start doing CUSTOM retro Season roster!Follow me on YouTube
