It's was a bad idea for them to balance the teams base off conference. West dominated in the past 15 years and deserve more the 6 from that time frame.
Shocked the Spurs didn't get a team.

Is that a new mode, historic domination?? 04 Wolves, wow did not see that one coming this late but hello Sprewell and prime Cassell!!! A Cavs team with Lebron is really a punch to the nuts though along with that Heat team, we can create those ourselves..how are the Spurs of 2003 or 2005 not in? I don't care about even Western and Eastern teams.

Speaking of Prime Cassell... Ray Rays Bucks comes to mind... Very underrated team. Glenn ( big dog) Robinson, Sam I am , Ray ray and them, Tim Thomas. wouldnt mind seeing these guys

To be fair, if it's the '07 Cavs, that team went to the finals as well. And if it's the '09 Cavs squad, regardless of what one wants to say about LeBron James' supporting cast, that team was knocking on the door of a 70-win season and looked unstoppable for a minute there in the playoffs.

Also, beyond a legitimately exciting trio of Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, and Kenyon Martin, those Nets teams weren't exactly brimming with talent either. I was still pulling for their inclusion though.

The Spurs didn't win the NBA title in '98, the Chicago Bulls did.

Complete bull**** that the Spurs, and in turn the best player since Jordan, aren't included but (no offense) losing teams like the '07 Cavs, '04 T-Wolves, '06 Suns, '03 Mavs are. Most of these teams the Spurs BEAT en route to their NBA championships, yet somehow they are deserving of "classic" team status.

I absolutely love KG but his two seasons represented in the game ('04 and '08) pale in comparison to Duncan in the 2003 and 2007 championship seasons. I'm just completely pissed, man!!!!!

Yeah this is nothing new.. Spurs are over looked year after year... They just don't have the "sexy" or the "hip" in the new B-ball era....(its okay cause they keep winning) I'm a bit old school so I've always enjoyed the spurs... (really the best sports franchise since.. I dont know).

No, just no. Duncan had one of the greatest individual seasons in NBA history in 2003. He carried a team that didn't have another player average more than 15 PPG to a NBA championship. That season was the the greatest either player has had and it isn't even close.

First of all, speaking of your argument, how is that any different than many of the other great Spurs team? They only had one person score more than 15 ppg last year. Are you telling me the Spurs currently have no talent? That's just a Spurs team.

Now speaking about KG:

KG was playing point guard in the playoffs they were so limited at times. 24/14/5//1.5/2.2.

Sam Cassell had his best season of his career. I don't think that was just coincidence.

He was simply amazing with insane games such as:

With all that said, the only other player I'd take over Duncan since Jordan is LBJ. Timmy D is better than Kobe and Shaq.

Good to see people are still posting the KG highlights I put in YouTube forever ago lol. Didn't think there were enough highlights of post season KG back then. That being said 03 Duncan was better than 04 KG imo. I thought Kg settled way to much on offense, which is why you constantly saw his efficeny dip in the post season.

I'll also say this, I wanted to see those 2003 Nets regardless, but especially to get that old Meadowlands court back. That way, I could also create a believable version of those mid-00's Nets teams with Vince Carter. Those squads strangely hold a special place in my heart (shout out to Mikki Moore).

Still, altogether, I'm pretty pumped about the teams that were added otherwise.
