Re: What's left for 2k to improve graphically?
For example this is how the chicago stadium is suppose to look like in nba 2k:
In nba 2k15 the halfcourt line is red, the circle around the bull logo is red and the free throw line is white. Plus the color of the bull logo is light red in the circle and outside of the free throw paint.Last edited by midwestking100; 07-18-2015, 09:47 AM.Comment

Bill Russell looks egregiously horrible. The sad thing is that he looked great in last gen.
Of course, animation could always use some tuning and added variety, wingspan/body types should be added, and created/generated players need some significant upgrades.Comment

I mean there will always be room for graphics to improve for as far as the boundaries of next-gen can be pushed & 4K, and after that - until it looks exactly like real life ha. Right now I don't think graphics are as big of a priority as gameplay balance, online stuff, etc, but I'd vote for more uniqueness between players - face, body, etc. It's already pretty great graphics but more consistency between camera angles. The new body scans will be dope.Last edited by Find_the_Door; 07-20-2015, 08:10 AM.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: What's left for 2k to improve graphically?
Won't be seeing any 4k this generation of consoles. 4k is more or less pointless anyways - OLED is the future of television tech. HDMi 2.0 hasn't even been standardized yet meaning you can't even do 4:4:4 chroma over 60hz with 4k (unless it's a 1080p signal). Essentially what I'm saying is all the current 4k buyers have "beta" sets that they've paid exorbant amounts of money for. . . ****Comment

To just burn? There's literally zero point to 4k now being that it's not standardized.
1080p Oled is the best buy on the market right now and is coincidentally the best picture available too.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

They could make black unis black instead of greyish. That'd be a nice improvement.#LFC

Re: What's left for 2k to improve graphically?
I agree but 2k's colors have always been off, reds, blues, blacks, are always incorrect whether its the jersey colors or court colors. Never understood why it was something they couldn't get correct.Comment

Re: What's left for 2k to improve graphically?
in no particular order.
1. lighting (arena, crowd, on court action, shadows)
2. jerseys (colors, fit, accurate look font & back) names that are curved, make them curved. scan them if needed.
3. skin textures (maybe this will be fixed with body scanning) the faces look great, but the body doesn't seem to be with the head texture wise.
4. game ball ( is there a way to scan the ball? to make it look like a leather ball rather than a rubber one?
5. accurate court art.Comment
