I don't understand why digital is the same price as a physical copy. It has to be cheaper to simply keep it on servers as opposed to burning the discs, printing the paper, packaging, shipping, etc etc. They could probably sell it for 5 or 10 less and still make more profit, or am i underestimating the costs of digital copies?

Anyway i'm still waiting for mycareer news, specifically about how the attribute caps will work, but who am i kidding? I'll pre-order it eventually, physical copy of course.

Depends on when and where you trade it. Best Buy gives a pretty good deal. And gamestop has extra 50% on trade ins.

I also didn't say it was the only game being traded.
There have been plenty of times I traded multiple games for 2 new ones.

Regardless, 10 bucks is 10 bucks. I'm frugal/cheap so I would rather make conscious decisions with my money. I waited to get MKX for $40 brand new.

As far as changing discs for me...if all my games are digital and I have 1 sports game on disc how does changing discs come into play? Besides changing discs isn't a big deal lol. I'd much rather have use of my physical game even if it's only 20 bucks towards a new 1. Or sell it to someone in person. It's not like you're gonna play NBA2k14 anymore anyway lol.

Bought Live and 2K on digital last year. Last time I ever do that on annual sports games. While convenient because you don't have to insert and take out a disc, you can't sell them back and use the cash towards a new game. Disc only for me.

I bought GTA V , BF4 , NBA 2k , COD all digitally they all get a nice burn . Very convenient not to change disc. But I have 2 ps4s ( 1 in my college town and 1 at home )very convenient to buy a game once and play online with your siblings lol.

Still waiting to hear if there is a legitimate halftime show before I pre-order.

Loved the pre-game show in 2k15 (from what I could see in youtube videos), but the lack of a legitimate halftime show saved me $60 dollars plus tax last year.

Halftime show = preorder.
No Halftime show = no preorder.

As a PC gamer digital is the way to go BUT paying full price digitally really keeps me from really diving in on consoles.

2k gets a lot of play from me so ordering digital version is the way to go. Everything else on disc...

I pre-ordered last month, and like some on here, I'm strictly digital. I enjoy not having to flip discs in and out. Simply voice command and it's a go!

It's for both, but I pre-ordered it for digital because I'll be able to play at midnight and not have to wait in any long lines.
