    Real nice 2k.
you are confused bro. People that think they are skilled really arent. How much skill is involved when you can play on HOF sim and hit jumphots with dwight howard and his 25 rating? rating should matter always. The arcade stuff needs to stay away

this thread got me thinking people like:

All I do is hate hate hate no matter what
Got hating on my mind, I can never hate enough
And every time I step up in the building
      Every middle finger goes UP
And they stay there, and they stay there

No, I'm not confused. I have over 1200 hours playing this game. I'm a legend 3 in the rec, as well as the number one seed in MyTeam. Nothing gets me more upset than hearing you guys complain about this. Just play good defense, that is it. It's not hard.

Patch 4 made it so that good shots had a better chance of going in and contested shots had a worse chance. But the problem is you casuals have such a hard time guarding people one on one that you give people wide open shots. Then you blame then game instead of trying to get better. Defense is everything. If you play great defense I guarantee your opponent will have troubles shooting. That is it.

Stop blaming the game and get better. It's that simple.

You're kidding me... zig-zag is the easiest "cheese" to defend! Just play good defense.

That's another thing that bugs me. Just because you can't defend something does not make it cheese, as they're are players who are much better at playing defense than you that are perfectly capable of defending it.

Again, it's all about getting better. Stop blaming the game and get better.

you are crazy if you think its just that easy, the input lag favors the offense, the dribble moves favor the offense, the shooting favors the offense, everything favors the offense... Hence why guys can shoot 95% from 3 in a rec game and no bats an eye.

If you play good defense, meaning you're in that person's face all the time he won't make 15% of his shots. That is if you can anticipate and play defense, which all comes with experience and time.

So how is it easy to defend the 30 ft 3s when you have a hand in the mans face? The dribble moves that tell the CPU that the shooter is "open" is flawed.

I know how to play defense, the problem is great players + demi + green lights 99.9999% + op dribble moves + deadeye.

I know the guy is going to the left, and going to step back on the left wing, he does it and im right there with the right stick contesting the shot. Bang, shot drops, as if I wasn't even there.

First off, why are you playing CPU defense? CPU always plays off 1-2 feet of the guy. Not to mention the CPU defender's movements are easily anticipated and you've seen them a million times.

In those cases you have to anticipate him going left, almost like you beat him to it. Be unpredictable on defense. Don't do what the person expects. That's basketball.

No you didnt understand what I meant by CPU, the coding in the game telling the game whats open and whats not.

See... this comment just frustrates me. "If 2K has defense." 2K has defense dude, you just want it to be so damn easy for you that you don't want to practice it.

There are going to be people better than you. That's not 2K's fault that you have trouble guarding them, that is on you.

Another example of a casual blaming 2K for his defensive troubles.
