How is the look of the game? Does it actually look like it would on TV or in person?

Visually the game has improved but it's not astronomically. If you look for the details like the floor and all the scratches, the rim rocking when a player like LeBron dunks it you will be pleased apart from the body scans on the player models.

Thanks for doing this. Much appreciated. Did you happen to notice if mouthpieces were visible/animated during game play? The fact that they actually animated mouthpieces impressed me since I first saw the beyond the shadows Curry teaser. It just adds another aesthetic level of authenticity as well as signature style in a way. Did you see any visible during regular gameplay or cut scene/replays?

I did not see it but honestly I wasn't paying close attention to it so I might have missed it. It is on the free throws though.

Just want to piggy back off this subject a little more, but would you say this is the best looking 2k so far on the new consoles??

I agree even if its not a TNT licensed presentation, anything will be better then hearing that the halftime show was taken out like it was last year. Really excited to see what they have in store for us in the presentation blog, they haven't disappointed yet.

If my memory serves me correctly, Bruce- the previous halftime guy- Made some statements that got him into hot water which led to 2k pulling him from the game at the last minute. That is the main reason the halftime show was possibly crippled and suffered. A natural progression would be to just have Shaq and Ernie do the halftime highlights since they already do the pre-game show.

Really looking forward to the presentation blog would that be where they would cover sneakers as well? Also desperately wanting more information about the rumored college integration. Which blog will cover this I wonder.

That's true but they still could have kept the highlights in without his commentary, but LD2k said at the time that people just skimmed though the halftime show a lot the year before.

The roll or fade timer is gone. You can now instantly toggle between those, I personally like it since it gives you a lot more control over your player while setting up pick and roll situations. I think this was also posted here but you no longer use the B/O button for them so you can pass, or make some dribble moves while calling for a screen. For example, I called a screen and was able to dribble my man to the left then get the screen to the right once Green was set for it.

I would say so. Beauty is in the details. Like the socks, while something most would consider stupid actually adds beauty to the game. Court looks really good as well and I actually like how the unis fit this year better than last year.

It is not perfect but you can see the improvements. Kicking out to Barnes or Klay in the corners after driving with Curry is deadly.

How about blocks? Can you go up and send someone's shot into the stands or is there still animations where guards drive in and the bigman can't even defend?

Along with this question, do shot blockers consistently block shots? Do they go up more aggressively to block shots?

This isn't so much a question, but I was wondering if you could tell us one or a few moments that you experienced while playing, that just made you stop and say damn, that was dope or realistic.
