True words. I definitely see the intrigue. Some have criticized the idea of that 1986 Bulls team existing on 2K but some of those random squads showcasing legends in vastly different roles, statures or environments can be pretty fascinating (the 1998 Lakers and Frobe being another example).

I believe the 2004 Cavaliers could be a pretty cool addition. It's not going to happen this year, but perhaps somewhere down the line. Headband low, mostly clean shaven, Air Zoom Generations, skinny (comparatively), bordering even closer to being pass first (and willing to dish with style), pretty broken jumper... it'd be an interesting time travel. And yes, bonus points for the inclusion of Southfield, MI native Ira Newble.

83-84 Knicks were a playoff team that pushed the Celtics to the limit (Bernard put the team on his back), I believe. I'd rather them over that 84-85 team that didn't make the playoffs and lost Bernard to the knee injury.

Yessir. They have the 195-86 squad with Dominique Wilkins, Spud Webb, Tree Rollins, Kevin Willis, Doc Rivers and Randy Wittman.

I already said it in another thread but I honestly feel like the 2008-09 Denver Nuggets would be a great addition. Who wouldn't enjoy playing with a squad that features Melo, AI, Nene, Chauncey Billups, Birdman, and J.R. Smith, to name a few? Not to mention they went to the Western Conference Finals, although they eventually fell to the Lakers. Since 2K is going with teams from the past 15 years for the new classic teams, I think that the 08-09 Nuggets squad would be a great choice.

I think that team would be a lot of fun and a great addition... but not as one of the final two choices. I think there's probably more worthy options who rightfully deserve the nod before them. But broadly speaking, yeah, there's a lot of character to that team. Only small thing: Chauncey Billups was traded for Allen Iverson, so they both wouldn't be there, just Chauncey.

Edit: My bad, I thought this thread was one about guessing the final two teams. Being as this is the underrated retro teams thread, yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with your choice, haha.

Man, that's weird looking back at a young, raw LeBron. Lmao at that Ricky Davis missed dunk. No I don't want that cavs team in, but I can see the appeal. The more the merrier, but they would be way down on the list for me.

Unless it was their roster at the beginning of the season and the art team nails LeBron's young look (and jumper), it'd be a waste unfortunately. Loved this team in Live 2004.
