I am fine either way just didnt know if i needed to manually bring my help this way or is there a setting for that. Thanks for all the additions.
The Pre-roation setting will help your issue but doesn't solve the exact situation you're talking about. Loading boxes, pins, and elbows is something we didn't get to this year. There's manual ways to achieve this of course but I wouldn't completely sign off on that.

Lets say your being played aggressively on the left side as the ballhander..and it vibrates left on the controller telling us the left is being block off..is there's a way to counter the body up defender, maybe by using off hand to push the defender off, or a dribbling move?

I know your the defense guy, but I'm trying to find out what are consequences when playing on the defensive side.

      Thanks man.

Understood. Thanks for that response. The changes you all made are great. Brings the mind back into the game. For us old guys we need the mental part of the game, because i cant keep up strictly with the stick skills. Allowing us to win with our minds is appreciated. No one can ever say you and czar dont know basketball strategy and really mean it from here on out.

OG, I know it's early yet, and we still need to play the game, but are you - at least on a preliminary basis - encouraged by the reactions to what you guys have done from the sim community?

I hope you are. And I hope others at VC are aware too.

We really like the way you as a dev team are kinda sorta partnering with the sim community. Some of us are knuckleheads all the time, some of us are on and off knuckleheads, some of us are OCD about one or two things. . . but overall, there's a solid base of sim gamers who are stunned and stoked by what you guys have attempted this year.

We may not always be the loudest or most persistent with positive feedback, but we're here.

Anyway, I hope y'all are feeling good, really good, about that. And even if there are some larger hiccups that need to be fixed after day 1, what I'm saying here still stands. We're in this with you.

Oh, you're talking about when you just hold down circle/B? If that's the case then no but you could still call for a pick with anybody.

You can already do that on 2k15 tap "O" on PS4 (pick control) and you'll see buttons up to players press the button of the player you want to get pick from and you're good to go. Ofcourse the control scheme will be different in 2k16 yet again it'll be there and more options than ever.

Arob are you asking for something like what Bulls will do with ball on strong side, j. Noah's man on weak side but he comes all the way to strong side of free throw line with help rather than the stop line for help? Do the Bulls have some defense like this or your saying only manually can we replicate this OG?

Yes I'm really happy and excited. When the blog came out I didn't quite know what to expect. I was confident in what we had accomplished but you know as well as I do that threads or blogs can get out of hand just over a logo or some lighting. I'm glad everyone stayed on topic.

Yep, we also made some adjustments because Hibbert is obviously no longer there. Their camp noted some changes and we made them. Things could change though. With PG back at full strength I think you're going to see more pressure out top.

I would only recommend using this feature in particular cases (side, corners) because the offense has plenty of blow by options. We didn't get enough time to show you those in the videos, see it as a risk, as it should be.

OG, in offscreens, does the defensive player have the same animations as the offensive player while running? in the video that you showed the defensive player made a shorter route pursuing the offensive player because of the lack of that animation.

No doubt! I love this dev team and their passion for not just their game but real basketball and finding a way to replicate that into the game we love! Like I said before I can't imagine where this game will be by 2k20. I'm ecstatic with everything I've read! It's like a wish list thread but it's all in the game now. I made a blog 3 years ago of stuff is like to see in the game moving forward, I even gave it to the devs when I went to 2k as rob jones asked me for it. Everything on that list has been crossed off. Pretty crazy! I'm not saying I had anything to do with it but the best part is the guys on this team love basketball and this game and short time ago they were 1 of us. Czar, OG, leftos, and beds. It's like a OS dream team mixed with guys like sim baller, Beluba, and rob jones who are like the original 92 dream team! There vision is like ours and their work ethic to make the most simulation game possible is awesome! We can't say that with other games. We are so lucky and fortunate to have guys like this who listen and interact with us as well.

Hence all the positive feedback! And they say this is just the groundwork of a 4-5 year plan?! Good lord! I mean just allowing us as users the options to edit and give us every slider we need as well as any option to adjust to our version of sim is almost unprecedented. Some give us basic options but these guys make almost everything customizable and editable to fit our own sim standards. What more could we want?

As a basketball coach for 16 years I love the aspect of playing another coach who has his team executing X's and O's and playing a chess game with strategy and matchups. This is things doc and pop do on a nightly basis and now we can do the same in a video game. It's incredible! I know the time it takes to scout, watch videos, patterns, strategies til 3am in the morning and can't imagine how much these guys probably did in overtime at home researching and still working late nights online til 3am in the morning for us to make sure we get authentic offensive and defensive strategies and plays into this game.

All I can say over and over again is wow and thank you! I've never been this impressed and excited for a game before! I feel like a 5 year old at Xmas where I can't get this game soon enough! I hope they feel the love and appreciation from me as well as all of us here at OS! These guys get it and we appreciate everything they did and do so we can enjoy this game for 364 days! And these blogs (every one of them) were well written and the ultimate hype machine! A million times better than you tube videos in years past. Hearing from real aim heads like these guys and their transparency on what's in and not in is refreshing!
