Thanks man, apologies for not explaining it in better detail. Hopefully I can do so over the live streams during launch.

Thank you, this was my concern as well. I didnt want to feel " glued" to a defender like in 15 with no where to go. Playing aggressive on ball Defense in ballhandlers face needs to have a risk as well.Comment

Yep, as you can see in the videos, when you engage with the offensive player, he will continue to stay squared to the basket in his triple threat position.

Yep, we also made some adjustments because Hibbert is obviously no longer there. Their camp noted some changes and we made them. Things could change though. With PG back at full strength I think you're going to see more pressure out top.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNow if only I could play that way with my beloved Lakers I'll be over the moon. Is it possible to install this type of pnr defense in MyLeague with Lakers since they have one and a half decent defenders on their team and this would be most efficient since Hibbert is GOAT at rim protecting.

Final 2 from me,
1.Will the use of the RT+LT defensive shuffle give slow players that fast foot speed that allows them to keep up with faster guards?
2. I asked this during stream but didn't see Books says it, Will onball defense IQ rating matter when controlling horrible defenders like Jimmer Ferdette? You explained during podcast the advantages to controlling an elite guy like tony allen but with a below average perimeter defender is their an disadvantage?Last edited by thedream2k16; 09-06-2015, 05:36 PM.Comment

Speeds are all relative to the rating. A bad defender will have no tell and much harder to hit the window to stop offensive player. I wouldn't crowd with Jimmer.

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Blog Wth Scott O'Gallagher
Have full court traps and presses and the cpu's use of them been updated?
They've always played too close to the offensive player and when used by the cpu resulted in 'blow bys' and easy buckets.Comment

You can already do that on 2k15 tap "O" on PS4 (pick control) and you'll see buttons up to players press the button of the player you want to get pick from and you're good to go. Ofcourse the control scheme will be different in 2k16 yet again it'll be there and more options than ever.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Blog Wth Scott O'Gallagher
Does this or I guess I could says how does this affect the ability to get tip steals on passes on the perimeter? On bad passes such as passing across the court which is like a bball 101 No-noComment

Not much went into half court traps and presses this year. You will see some improvement, but it's not much.Twitter: @ScottOGallagherComment

I think it's vastly improved. Off ball guys across the board are much better when it comes to being on their "man-ball" line.Twitter: @ScottOGallagherComment
