Has anyone found a solution to the 31 percent installation stop on Xbox One yet? This is one of the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. And MS, 2K and no gaming news outlet is even talking about this. If this weren't a sports game though they certainly would be reporting it.

Check a few pages back I posted a few different things you could do, the last solution ( removing your account from xboxone then reinstalling ) worked for me

My download was completed yesterday after 3 failed attempts . Here is what i did to get it to work :

1. Uninstall the bad download

2.Go to the xbox store , you should see two NBA 2k16 downloads , do not download the pre-order edition , Download the one THAT DOES NOT SAY PRE-ORDERED EDITION.

3. The download will start out slow but once it gets pass after 30%-32% it should start going faster .

4. Once its done you will see "pre-ordered" on the game and your all set

NOTE : Do no reset the download if its going slow , it will start to speed up once it goes pass the 30% mark.

This might not work for you but this is what happened to me and i was able to download the game.

You will STILL get to play the game on Thursday at midnight if you download the NON- Pre-order version .

PS4 Pre Order is able for downloading now...
Downloadspeed seems to be very good. Right now everything is working fine!
There are 3 file to download:


NBA 2k16 Theme
NBA 2k16 (4,6GB ...what???)
NBA 2k16 Update (2,2GB)


the 4,6GB must be wrong or not? But from the expected downloading time it really seems to be just that small...

To everyone who pre-ordered on the PS4, uncheck and recheck the auto-download and it should start.

1.Download the one that does not say pre-order edition

2.You can still play it at midnight on Thursday (read the description) ignore the "play 9/29/2015"

the NBA 2k16 File ist just 4,6GB, thats way to small...must be wrong?!
