I restarted mine and erased all the progress I made and I'm still going as slow as before LOL!

It took almost an entire day to get to 31 percent, then it stops installing. I then uninstall restart my xbox and it takes 3 hours to get to 31 percent again just to do the same damn thing. Now it has been installing for two hours, I come back and it is on 4 percent. I can't even tell if it is installing or not.

I swear it is always something with 2k every ****ing year.

Not the point. We all paid 60$ we want our games to work when they put out a service this way.

They say pre-download is available? It better work. It doesn't work?

Tell us why. We ask 2k, they should go... UH. we don't know,
let's ask xbox.
And then xbox goes... well uh. There's a problem X. (explain and describe in layman's terms the problem and the steps they are taking to fix it, along with a timeline.)

And go. Ok. We should have a solution by Y. And you ALL should be able to download pre-load normally. Instructions if you don't have them are here at Z.

I understand what your saying but the reality is sometimes things don't work out the way they are suppose to . Especially when it comes to digital products , it only takes one mis step for everything to go wrong. 2k has already said M$ is working on the problem so all we can do is wait or get a refund and pick up the physical copy.

This is exactly why i don't recommend reinstalling the game again unless the gam stops installing , your just going to restart your download to 0% again and its just going to prolong the process.

2k16 download has gotten stuck at 31% twice now, what do I do

I've been trying to download the game and when it gets to 31% it says "Installation stopped" and when I try to resume it it will say "queued" and then say installation stopped again.

What do you think I should do?

I'd try canceling the download, hard resetting your console then trying again. If that doesn't work then I'd suggest getting on the phone with both Xbox support and 2K support. A poster here showed a screenshot 2K support blaming Xbox but I talked to Xbox support on Sunday and they said it was a 2K server issuw.

Should I uninstall the game then hard reset or just reset then try the download again? I'll definitely try talking to Microsoft if that doesn't work.

Same thing happened to me on 31 percent twice. Now trying to download for a 3rd time.


I'd assume it is a 2k problem. I know that if it was a problem on Microsoft's side they'd have it fixed by now.

WHen I downloaded FIFA it did the same thing but I was able to play so I think your good
