This thread is a perfect example of peoples "Need4Sheed." Someone needs to contact him and send this thread to him. Maybe it'll tug at some heartstrings or something and he'll do it for the fans.

Is it wrong to have an opinion where I think it kills immersion by having an ugly created version of him on the team? And you have to sit there and edit all of his stats, tendencies, etc...

No, I don't think it's wrong for you to feel that way. The team is not complete in your eyes, and so you don't feel comfortable using them, even with CAP's to fill in the blanks. That's your prerogative and I understand that.

But there are a number of us, including myself, who have absolutely no problem with filling in a CAP Rasheed, either by creating his profile ourselves or downloading someone else's. What some others in this thread are now clamoring about is that these teams should have been removed completely, and thus removing the 90% of work on these teams that they did manage to put into the game. It's a vocal minority expressing this opinion, and I don't think 2k would suddenly remove these teams from the game this year, but it could be considered for removal next year. This is exactly what happened with Webber and the Kings, so there is precedent for 2k reacting like this. The more teams (complete or not) we have in the game, the better it is for us as consumers and fans, and that's the point I'm trying to drive home.

They do. We had a thread on here for teams that could be included using existing players and some who needed to be signed, and that's exactly what we got. 2k I'm sure did everything to try to secure Sheed.

Sheed seems well insulated from social media...hehe. He doesn't seem to have an online presence.

For all complaining, look at this CAP of Rasheed I found in a random roster I downloaded. Look how good that looks. I guarantee we'll have plenty of good looking caps to choose from and I personally wouldn't have a problem if this was what I had to play with.

Supposedly you can make a create a player with a headband this year as well so that will also help. I've seen some decent Sheeds on 2k15 create a player.

For all complaining, look at this CAP of Rasheed I found in a random roster I downloaded. Look how good that looks. I guarantee we'll have plenty of good looking caps to choose from and I personally wouldn't have a problem if this was what I had to play with.

Trim the hair down and give him the right jersey number and we could be good to go. Historically, bald players (Barkley, Van Exel, Warriors-era Sprewell) translated really well via create-a-player. Created Sheeds have been iffy over the years but I've got hope.

The majority of the target audience of this game not giving a damn about these classic teams, or the fact that Rasheed Wallace isn't in it, was exactly my point.

Twitter or not, they're not selling this game to people based on these classic teams, nor one former player.

People really asking why bother adding the team if a certain player is missing, damn

Ben Wallace is my favorite player, the 04 Pistons is my favorite championship team. I love the addition of the 04 Pistons regardless, I will just create a Sheed

Rather have to make a couple of missing players then to have to make the WHOLE squad

Totally on board with that, and I get it 100%

But, does it take away enjoyment from the game? Will I not love all the other features and modes because say, Kobe Bryant is missing from the 2001 Lakers squad?

It'd suck that I couldn't play with him, but I wouldn't be coming after 2Ks head saying they're shady and practice crappy business. That's where I don't get it.

To each their own though.
