Man, that's a serious blow. No Sheed, then there's no point in the Blaze or Pistons really, and you can't just recreate him and his mannerisms. That really sucks.

At least there's Big Ben and Rip. Someone will create a good Sheed hopefully. Some of the missing classic players create a players were pretty good last year.

Plus no Corliss Williamson or Mike James.

I was kind of figuring guys like Darvin Ham to miss the cut. And I know Mike James was/is still toiling around in the D-League somewhere so that could complicate matters, but I'm surprised Okur, Williamson, and Wallace are all gone.

Man, this really sucks. I went from being ecstatic that the 00 Blazers were in to barely even caring now. He was quite possibly the most important piece of that team. I really hope he gets added when it launches but I'm guessing he won't.

I don't have a problem with people being upset Sheed isn't in the game, it's the way some of you guys are going about it.

It wasn't a purposeful decision by 2K to omit him from the game, he didn't want to be in the game.

Holding out hope he's in a day one patch....

I wonder why guys turn down being in the game? Seems like it's essentially free money for saying "yes"

I'm hoping for the same. It's a looong shot but we've seen crazier things happen through patches.

Has anyone on the 2k team said anything about Sheets exclusion? Either on the OS boards or twitter? It'd be nice to see a "sorry guys we couldnt get Sheed in the game because...." or a "don't lose hope on Sheet yet, still working things out" just so we could get some official confirmation.

I don't know what is but some gamers take things way too personal. As if developers purposely look for ways to disappoint fans. I don't know if it is younger gamers or just ungrateful gamers in general but sometimes no matter how much work developers put into a game to make the product better some fans will still find and focus on the negatives.

It sucks Sheeds not in, I'm disappointed about it, but on the list of things that could ruin the 2k experience for me 1 missing player isn't high on the list.

here's my point of view. If you can't have everyone on the classic team (at least all the big names) then don't do it at all. It's almost a slap in the face that way. better to not have them and take that time to focus on making the other teams better. take the time to do graphical upgrades, or make more features. either do it big, or don't do it.
