If CAP is right, with tattoos and stuff, AND we get a CAT outside of MyLeague/MyGM then I'd be fine not having important teams. Especially if we get to share our creations

They already have the blueprint in house with the WWE CAP utilities....throw that in NBA 2K and we're golden

That system is surprisingly good. I created myself and a bunch of friends and likenesses were pretty top notch.

I think this is something we can all participate in

Was thinking how people were disappointed Sheed didn't make the cut in the game.

I feel like a similar thing could be done for a team like the 93 Suns or the 97 Pacers without the usual suspects being added since they refuse (Chuck, Reggie, etc.)

This could really be alleviated IF we had a top notch CAP system. The Blazers are in now without Sheed, so why not add the Suns and Pacers without the other two but give us the tool to create the most lifelike players ourselves.

          - Eliminates 2k from paying too much licensing fees

          - Fans get what they want and the popular never had em teams get in

          - The community can get involved with eachother, but here is the thing

This years game with ALL of the Great customizations is probably just a start. I say don't remove it, just keep it going for next year and beyond.

We don't have a great CAP system as seen by the leaks which is disappointing but let put it out there that we'd like a very very customizable Create a Player feature where we can satisfy ourselves among ourselves.

Post some of your ideas on what is a great system out in the blue that you've seen or simply a great idea you have in your mind that would work great for the community (realistically of course).

Lets keep it constructive and formatted if possible so it'll be easy to read preadventure 2k decides to give this thread a peek and ponder on it for 2K17

For me, I'd like to see something like the CAS in WWE 2K16

          What's your idea?
this is incredible. It would be so easy to make the missing legends. The fact that you just need a picture to create the created player makes it very accessible for anyone. C'mon 2k, borrow this feature from your wwe buddies.

In my opinion I don't see NBA 2K using the WWE scanning feature because it might hurt their residual business. There are a lot of My League people who if they loved a certain year's 2K game and had the ability to scan pics of free agents, rookies and over seas players they may only buy the game every 2-3 years.

Man that's not true at all

It takes more than a cyberface to keep you playing the game for years on end

Yes, Yes, Yes! This premise is exactly what I'm talking about! Give us the tools to create, modify, and SHARE! Boom, boom, boom. Everybody wins! Not only does this open the door for creation of historic teams/seasons, college teams, AAU teams, international teams, celeb teams, (possibilities are endless), etc., but it would also silence a lot of all this criticism of this guys hair is wrong, this guys shoulders too big, why isn't "so-and-so" in the game, etc.

Heck, it might even save 2K some licensing fees securing historic players. Although I'm sure they'd still need to secure them for their MyTeam mode.

NBA 2k devs were asked to physically wrestle for it on the ring. Some dev vs dev action but they declined. Leftos was down for it though...

This is how it played out in my mind.

Might be compatibility issues....NBA version looks kinda simplistic compared to WWE. I was thinking that it might also be memory space but WWE seems loaded this year....so I'm guessing some incompatible coding.

I would rather have photo scanning than face scanning. Scrap the face scanning! So much more convenient to have photo scanning instead. Allows for so much customization in-game.

And the draft classes... Both Fictional and Real? :0

I haven't played WWE but looking at those vids in the OP, I agree, that looks like the solution right there.

                          No..Which is incredibly lame.

I don't know why they keep gimping create a player...Allow us to make whatever we want.

                            This was confirmed...? Bummer...

Really? I always thought The Shows creations were sorta bad. Trying to create a black man is a whole project in that game. I've seen some pretty spot on likenesses in 2K though.

In WWE, can you create different size (thickness) arms/legs/etc?
