The more I played this game the more I hated it. I sold it to a friend, thank god I got my money back.. I just loved how coded the game is in favor of the cpu.. Every time I blocked a shot, the ball would ALWAYS end up in the computers hand. When the cpu blocks a shot, guess who ALWAYS got the ball? You guessed it, the cpu.. It was utterly ridiculous how much the cpu cheats in this game. What are you doing 2K? Are you trying to copy EA Sports? What a terrible product you put out this year.. Epic Fail by 2K...

My experience differs. I will say that after a satisfying block, I get a large percentage of the ball back and am able to score on fast breaks or simply just start the transition. I love the loose balls this year given that I actually have success grabbing them. In my eyes, it's a win. Just my three cents.

How are highlights broken on ps4, I keep seeing that mentioned and I get highlights, is there something else missing?

At the end of the game when they're talking about the Player of the Game there's supposed to be a highlight package. Also missing is the individual player highlights that you get when you go into the Box Score and select each player. There is a workaround by saving your game and rejoining just after Half Time, however you will only see the highlights from the second half of the game.

Hard to take a post like this serious when the game hasn't even been out a week yet, like how many games did you play to say the CPU always gets the ball back on a block.

It's a time thing, it not even based on how many minutes played. I have restarted my game and then paused it for awhile and lost replays on the PS4.

I noticed that some highlights are jumping between the player that passed the ball and the player receiving it. I've also notice that the music feels out of sync from the highlights themselves.

Just finished playing the MyCareer Living Da Dream story. Overall I thought it was well done. Thought the path it included from HS to college to the pros was a very fun approach. Wish more of the HS and College play was included. The NBA story was a little confusing. Didn't expect to be cut after the season but Free Agency was cool.


Also wish MyPlayer was better attribute wise when entering his rookie season. Was unrealistic that my player came off the bench after being draft #7 overall and only played 10 mins a game.


The characters in the story were interesting but of course it was disappointing that the story was not long enough to actually get emotionally invested in them. Totally understandable because this isn't a movie but a game.


A lot of things were left questioning such as, who was CeCe and her background outside of Freq's life. Also, the owner. Would have liked to see some actual NBA players in the story itself.


Overall it was entertaining and a good Segway to starting your MyCareer. The one thing I would change besides the length of HS and College play and low attributes for MyPlayer was that our character Freq would have to make some decisions that would dictate his path. Those decisions would affect the story and lead you down another road. Like, if we wanted to drop Vic as a friend that would take you to another section of the story.


Well done NBA2K16 crew and, in my opinion, this is the best version yet.

Your CPU-controlled teammates FINALLY have a brain on offense and I love it. I've been asking for this stuff for years and years but finally they think on their own.

I was playing the Pacers last night using the Knicks and typically I get into a rhythm early on in the freelance Triangle and eventually the CPU adjusts and starts denying the ball across the board since I'm running a pass-heavy offense. So I had the ball on the right wing with Melo and Afflalo is at the top of the key and his defender is denying the pass. After a split second he realizes that I'm not going to pass him the ball and, Basketball 101 here, he cuts backdoor because he's being overplayed. I hit with him a nice bounce pass for an And-1 dunk. It was a thing of beauty. I didn't have to hold Y to manually tell him to cut, he simply did it on his own. I can't tell you how long I've waited to see something like that in 2K.

I wonder if I got a good copy, last night I got player of the game with Jimmy Butler, And It showed His Highlights and Kenny, Shaq, and Ernie talked about it, in the postgame.

At halftime I saw the recap of all the action from the first and second quarter. Now it doesn't happen every game for me, but I thought they did that on purpose.

The box score highlights I have no idea about but you guys aren't seeing any of that stuff?

No, I'm on board with you. Everything is working for me. Those are the problems I see with the highlights. The problem I mentioned above was in the box scores. I'll see if I can post it next time I see it.

But I think people are having problems seeing highlights overall.

Yea, that's what I was thinking, and I was saying I'm not having any problems with that, but it doesn't seem to show up every game, they seem to vary.

Anyone else notice that when you go into practice mode there is no music playing? it's a minor issue but its pretty annoying. Makes me think there is something wrong on my end.

Yea, your right its triangle. Yea, their replay department has always been kinda lacking, but I was reading another thread on here where you could only see the highlights if you played on 8 min quarters.

I saw them last night on 5 min quarters, so I guess some people got some bugged copies.

I don't think it's the copies. The problem sounds like it the amount time played in each quarter. Because I play 6 minute quarters.
