I find it's way more improved over last year and find it very playable.
I remember you from last years threads and i agreed that last years input lag was horrid. You noticed the improvement this year right?

I bumped the game speed to 57 i'm enjoying this game very much other than the stuttering which i assume will be fixed soon.

Yessir. I do think it's better this year, but still could be much better.


I like the game a lot, but there's things here and there that bother me. Many are art-related. (bodies/legs too thick, skin tones, unis and courts not correct colors, hair styles).


By biggest gripe, gameplay-wise, is the magnetic defense. It's the NBA. I shouldn't have to pull off dribble move after dribble move to get past my guy...unless that guy is a great defender.


Also, I notice pretty much every close shot/layup that's off the glass is a swish. That really ruins the immersion. I want that "ahhh, is it going in or not" feeling sometimes. That's not the case tho. 99.9% of these close shots off the glass is nothing but net.

Hmm, perhaps because those guys were bumped when attempting the shot?


Because it's crazy how pretty much every close shot/layup I see (where there's no contact perhaps?) that's off the glass touches nothing but net. Whether it's me or the CPU.

Well I would expect a bit of a higher % of those really close to the basket....but even messing around in practice...

Oh man does anyone else have problems with free throws in MyCareer? Literally every ball into the paint ends up with free throws. I'm watching more free throws than actually playing the game. And I already had two games where the ball went out of bounds, bounced off the bench and went back into play without the ref calling it. I captured one and will upload it later.

I don't like that you are stuck in timeouts for too long without the ability to skip them, having to watch your players sitting there. Same goes for the half time and the post game show. I'm hammering X but nothing happens. Waste of time. Combine that with the 15 minute cut scenes in MyCareer and it feels like I'm watching a soap opera. I would rather play the damn game instead!

did you touch your foul sliders? I see ppl posting sliders and maxing out a lot of the foul sliders when it's not necessary at all this year. You have to know how to draw fouls. I can go to the FT line about 20 times a game with default sliders.

did you touch your foul sliders? I see ppl posting sliders and maxing out a lot of the foul sliders when it's not necessary at all this year. You have to know how to draw fouls. I can go to the FT line about 20 times a game with default sliders.

This is in MyCareer. Whenever I pass the ball into the paint and my teammate tries to score there he gets fouled way too often. Same goes for the AI scoring in the paint. As I said, I feel like I'm watching more free throws than playing the game.

I just played some 2k11 since i am away from my ps4 and i got 2k11 on my laptop and i gotta say, 2k16 feels much smoother, better, from the visual standpoint is much ahead, but i should also say that 2k11 is really a solid game without some big flaws. If 2k16 could fix some little things like pick and roll/pop defense, that's probably the thing i noticed myself that can be exploited big time, everytime i need a basket i'll go pick and pop with my big who can make it from midrange and he's open most of the time, and some other stuff you guys have been complaining about it will clearly be the best 2k ever. Well it means it's just on 2k, if they can fix most of these things in their next patch, that should be it. Enjoy

Agreed. I have hopes that ACE updates and Patches will fix some of the glaring defensive issues. Doubles in post, sticking to popping screener, etc seems like something ACE was tailor made to actually fix. I guess we shall see.

Unbelievably stupid and shortsighted decision to remove the interactive tutorials from the game. I need them every year to freshen up and this year especially with the new controls. SMH.
