Patch#3 plays well on pro and all-star not so good on Superstar. Defenders awareness needs a little tweaking.

Having a hard time making shots at the park.

I'm an outside PG 90+ 3pt rating and I miss a lot of shots I should make.

Mainly taking open catch and shoot 3s with release 22 on quick.

Any tips or things I should try?

It's a joke. Blame the bums who can't play defence that were whinging and moaning about the shooting. You can't even hit wide open shots consistently when you take open catch and shoot shots where the defence has obviously lacked.

The only thing that was truly cheese/unguardable in 2k15 was the Crossover 16 and 18. Apart from that if someone beats you off the dribble then they should be rewarded. Not everyone could dribble on the last game and instead of upping your game and improving, most people just whinged that the game was broken. Creating your shot was an art on the last game, now it's redundant.

You can't even play with randoms anymore because if they are trash then you can't carry the team. All this game has done has turned average players into competitive players.

Some people saying can't hit open shots well after patch, I disagree. I'm hitting bank mid jumpshots all day with my 74mid rating PF, I don't see a difference.

I think I loss about 30 games after starting like 40 and oh with my regular Park parnter.

This game is frustrating. Missing point blank game winners. Getting shot on by smaller players while being like a foot taller. All types of stuff.

Got the ball phasing through players arms. You still can't drive into the paint with a ball handling rating less than 70. But 7'3 big man can post while you swipe at the ball and then do a spin move and still make it.

Oh and thanks to the new force field, if you have a big man under 7'3...you not gonna be able to guard 7'3 centers.

I hate this mode now, it's Patch 4ish. It's like nowhere in 2K you can find a sim experience, it's always these crappy animations, these crappy "momentum" plays. Crappy physics.

If you are not 99, don't even bother with the Park cause weird stuff will always happen where you lose the ball, miss the point game winner, have a failed alleyoop, blah blah blah...

Just wait until you get like 40 bages, before going into the Park.

I think I loss every game by 2....and I wanted to break ish. I ain't play Park again until I am maxed out. Only 7'3 centers can play without being maxed out.

I'm just gonna say anybody who is against methods to prevent camping is a cheeser. Or just isn't good at actually being mobile. Like I've said before I play with a center and although I've camped in the paint before, it was because the game allowed it and the other center would do it so why put myself at a disadvantage? Now they've added 3 in the key and moving screens I've seen little to no screens and when they are set it's usually a moving screen which I enjoy lol.

I don't like camping in the paint. And now rebound battles are actually real to where I can run around a guy because he's too far out to grab the rebound. Park plays way better now because guys can't exploit game mechanics. It's balanced and that's how an online mode should be.

Btw I also have a 6'0 PG and I have no problems in park. I'm only like a 94. Maybe lower.

Too much complaining, game was fine pre patch. Cheese isn't real, players are just mad it's a successful tactic. If somebody wants to camp in lane let them. There's no 3 seconds in streetball.

I take my words back saying shooting is the same after patch. It felt same with pf with whom i shoot pretty rare and on really good opportunity to bank it down. With my outside sf I feel like its just not as easy as before, but i can still shoot the lights out if I get hot on offense.

I really like more challenging gameplay now, no more lazy offense with midrange shots or camping paint for putbacks. MyPark really started to feel stale to me and now it all feels fresh.

Nobody complained about the shot clock in park games. Why is adding in the "3 second" call making this mode any less streetball-ish?

It's not streetball, neither is the shot clock. Just helping out users who can't stop people's offensive tactics. Remove successful ways to score to help out lesser skilled players who can't combat these moves.

Flat out, if You don't like park now you're a bum. I went on a 17 game streak last night in Flyers and had to quit because we waited ten minutes and no one would play. Pretty cool feeling seeing legends runninG away and the rookies Stepping up. Was pretty rewarding knowing bums can't just dribble shoot all day. Played a guy who kept coming back. 6'10 SF with every cheesy dribble in the book and the shot to match. Kept getting matched up on the center too. We were rolling watching dude go 3/10 then 1/7 then 2/12. My CENTER buddy was sticking a probably max play making outside SF and made him go 6/29 lol lol lol lol lol.

Point blank, get a squad and play hoops. We run teams by manning up, cutting off lanes, passing, and putting pressure on the D by throwing it up court after a miss.

It's beautiful right now.

My only complaint is as a guard i should be breaking people down a bit more but that's easily fixed by moving the ball faster than they can react.

Oh, and you can still set picks. You just have to use realistic spots on the court. Instead of top of the arc or the wings, it's Top of the key and the Elbows. Those are the places you can screen OFF ball best to free up shooters LIKE IN A REAL BASKETBALL GAME!

Lol cheese isn't real? What does that even mean bruh? Camping is actually an exploit and not a tactic. Tact would be blocking in a fighting game until you see an opening. Sitting in the paint until the shot goes up or you get a dunk is just exploiting mechanics the creators overlooked. That's just my opinion tho. But if they felt it was a legit tactic they would have kept it the same. same with setting a screen in the paint. When has that ever been possible unless it was for a shooter off a curl? But they took it out before guyswere abusing it and using it as an exploit.

I'm curious to see how you play if you're against balance...

They really need to fix the inside/close shots next year.


It's tiring seeing 99% of layups/shots in the paint being bank shots. And 99% of them don't touch rim. It's all net.


Not only doesn't it hurt the immersion from a "looks" standpoint, but there's no sense of uncertainty. "Is the ball gonna roll off the rim"? "Is it going in"?


You know right away, because it's all backboard and then nothing but net.
