Firstly, they need to get their head around what the real issues are. Then they have to develop fixes. Then they have to test these fixes to make sure it doesnt break other parts.

And besides, the issues as they stand are minor. This is one of the most widely praised sports games ever.

Nobody talks about it, but for me it's the BIGGEST request for 2k:

My Career mode: you can only play with 12 minutes quarter. Of course you can select, 8 or 6 but this makes the game so unrealistic and pathetic. Why? Because when you simulates the game, the matches always are played at 12 minutes.

Example: Beggin the mode (when you only play a few minutes for game), your player makes a few points and sit. When you go again to the pitch, the score is like +25 points for every team in only one quarter. Your player stats are for 12m, but the rest of the team have stats for 12...

It's really stupid thing. And the most amazing of all of this is that this glitch happens since... EVER!!!! I remember playing NBA2k12, 13, last year... Always the same problem, always any solution.

I don't want to simulate my matches, but don't have enough time to play 12m quarter for every match. Why it's not possible to play this mode in shorter tearms?

My mistake: I mean your player stats are for 6m, and the rest of the team have 12m stats

Please provide player lock for couch coop. Like every other 2k game has. Let multiple people player lock for the game. Add it back under the controls menu. Fix mygm goals promises that I never broke but I have to take the hit for. Why couldn't the glitch allow me to hit every goal? Of course not, im penalized for keeping my word to my players.

Hey everyone- I think this game is great, but there are a few significant issues which seem to pop up on a consistent basis, that are hopefully addressed by the developers. Please do not take this as a "nerf the defense" or general complaint thread, because neither of those are my intention. However, after a week of playing, these are the GAMEPLAY issues which appear to be the most glaring.

1. CPU Defense, and corresponding animations are currently overpowered. I understand the importance of running good offense and plays, but I feel helpless as a ball handler as the dribble drives (and even basic dribbling around the court) are extremely ineffective and INCONSISTENT. I literally feel like I am getting sucked directly into a "bumping or riding" animation 9/10 times I move around a defender.
- Can you beat a defender? Of course you can, but it seems so inconsistent and more a matter of luck, then it is a well thought out move and explosion to the basket.
- In addition, and probably directly related, I would like to see more "explosion" and remove the "hesitation/hitch" seen consistently when controlling an offensive player (no matter how great they are, Curry, Westbrook, Lebron, Rose, are all effected). As mentioned, this is probably a byproduct of the game wanting to play more defensive minded, but it should not come at the expense of limiting the integrity of offensive movement).

2. Players being left wide open under the basket. Many times big men (playing defense) allow their man stand between them and the basket for an easy pass and layup.

3. CPU teammates transition defense- This has been a legacy issue for 2K, but it is currently not working well. AI controlled teammates are currently having a very hard time defending in transition.

4. To piggy back on transition defense challenges, the AI seems to have a very difficult time identifying who to pick up and guard in the half court. As a user, when I get back on defense, my "player guarding" indicator seems to move all over and many times we are left with two people guarding the same player, and someone left wide open. (This could be the root cause of issue in bullet point 2 as well)

5. Offensive sets- All of the new freelance and plays are PHENOMENAL, best part of the game IMO, but they seem to setup and develop at a very slow pace, leaving you with very few options over the course of the offensive possesion. (Compounded by the fact it is challenging to move around the floor and perform dribble drives without being sucked into defensive animations).
- I would like to see CZAR speed up these offensive sets, and also make the launch points a bit more forgiving. (Sometimes I will be standing in an area and the play (freelance) will not trigger.

6. Fatigue- It is currently almost non-existant and broken. (Developers have acknowledged this)


This list may seem extensive, but for ALL they added, and how great this game is, there were a few bugs that were bound to happen. If they can clean these gameplay issues up, this will undoutedly be the greatest sports game I have ever played, and I have been an avid sports gamer since the early 90's.

To take the Jordan Rec center out of my park and take it for Pro Am was dumb. Pro Am should be playable just for our costom courts

Now we lost also the Jordan Rec center because many people don't play it anymore because they don't get rep or the mode don't work so .. Yea Gj 2k

Rep should stay out of Pro Am. That way, it keeps the majority of Park bums/ballhoggers/shot jackers/stat chasers out of Pro Am.

Screw getting rep in Pro Am. Just bring back JRC. I actually have had good experiences with randoms on Pro AM. Each time I've played as a walk on in Pro AM with other Walk Ons I've won.

But to my patch requests. In Pro AM I don't think walk ons should play with people on teams. I play point guard and every time I'm a walk on my stats always get screwed. I'm trying to keep my scoring #s between 15-20ppg and I'm trying to have my assist numbers around 12-15. I shouldnt have to sacrifice that because I'm not playing with my squad. Most of the time other squads don't trust me with the ball and won't let me bring it up and sometimes they won't pass to me in general. Teams with less then 5 players should always have CPU fill in the empty spots.

And my other issue is in My Career. The selection for accessories is abysmal. Since you can bring in more my park clothes and what not this should not be a patch. Just introduce more accessories to the 2kSports Store.

The inability to wear Stance socks even after getting the endorsement is ridiculous. I read in the accessories thread that it couldn't get added in but that's inexcusable and a failure by 2k.

When you wear padded leg sleeves socks are removed. This needs to be patched and I can't think of a reason for it to be like this.

And lastly the fact that we're only able to wear short socks is even more ridiculous then anything else I've mentioned. Patch in the ability to change sock height we haven't been able to do that since 2k11. That's unacceptable, it's sad to see as the years go on the customization has seemed to lessen.
