Defensive rotations need a lot of work, also if you're defending the ball your CPU teammate will inexplicably give a stretch 4 a cushion, I've set the off-ball pressure to deny & tight and it changes nothing. They still give the guy some room for no reason.
Also, how about some faster passes?Comment

Just noticed magic Johnson from 90-91 is darker in tone than the 85-86 version, also wilt chamberlain is too dark he was never that dark in tone lil stuff like this ruins the visuals of this game for me hope this gets patched, how does 2k get Kareem adul-jab bar correct but not wilt....smhComment

Unable to do up and unders outside the paint or right below freethrow area.
More accurate and more descriptions about strengths + weaknesses of players. How am I matching up against Chris Paul and in the weakness category it says not very good at stealing the ball put him on his heels? LMAO Chris Paul is an elite n crafty defender for his position and has led league in steals multiple years in the past. His other weakness not very good at getting to the freethrow line force him into the paint , hands up blah blah...again both very inaccurate and false.
Stop calling me freq in pre, during, and post game conferences! I changed my nickname for a reason. They should've had shaq ej n kenny voice all the nicknames and NOT just freq and same thing with the commentators. I feel like after rookie season and story ends they just copied and pasted 2k15 mycareer progression if that's how I can appropriately word it.Comment

Also, I agree the screening in the paint to get rebounds needs to be fixed. It was widespread last year and everyone was doing it, sucks that it was left in this year, didn't 2K say something about you being taken out of that animation when a shot went up? Guess they didn't implement that.
Also, please fix park match-ups. I don't understand why last year you were matched up by position and this year you are just placed in random spots. I was just placed on a 99 center in the park who did nothing but screen in the paint and get rebounds, we lost by two because he got eleven boards on me.
My friends and I just played a couple park games and I went from PG to SG to C to SG to PG to C in the match-ups and passing icons even though we had two guards and a center. Like I said, it makes no sense to have our center not be the center every game, the constant switching of positions, icons, and mismatches are really taking away from the fun of park.Los Angeles Lakers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, Atlanta Falcons

I'd love for the the textures in the jersey editor to be swapped around eg. if you look at the Wizards template you'll notice that the top yoke is mesh and the rest of the jersey is solid where the actual Wizards jersey the top yoke is solid and the rest is mesh meaning the no design option in the editor is solid instead of mesh. I hope that makes sense!!!Comment

Defensive AI, but especially big men.
Contested layups going in for CPU.
Players resigning for little money.
The "hang up" animation when my players try to drive needs to be tuned. It's too damn hard to drive past subpar defenders.Comment

Better transition defense, more errant passes on long bombs; encourage the player to bring the ball up authentically. More contact in the paint, especially prepass; too many lead passes for dunks to big men with no room. Lead pass momentum needs to be nerfed or eliminated outright. Spin layup needs contact, I've seen it morph players right through the defense. The same invisible shield on the baseline that the offense gets needs to be applied to the defense too; everyone drives baseline for a reason and even with good defense on the baseline, I've seen too many bailouts and glitchy happenings.
Offensive rebounding needs a boost, I've seen too many guards who aren't great rebounders snatch away boards from bigs who often tip it to the defense, rather than snatching it down. Defense needs to come up with what should be 50/50 balls more often, too many blocks go back to the offense and often lead to open shots for the offense. Improve pick and roll defense. Have the AI on the weak side stick to their assignment, they often sag for no reason, ball gawking. When double teamed in the backcourt, have one teammate at least try to come get the ball. More contact on the perimeter on the user controlled defenders; it doesn't need to be as OP as the CPU and I'm not expecting a bad defender to become Gary Payton, but all too often a player running into me has the ball morph through me or simply blows by with no resistance.
