This video is very illustrative of how amazing the accessories customization can be in a single player sports game, and how poor 2k16's MyCareer looks in comparison. This is the edit player screen in the Road to the Show mode of MLB 15 the Show

You only need to watch a couple minutes of it to get the idea. Notice how you can customize nearly every single aspect of your player's gear, from the base and trim color of the glove, to the type of batting gloves and shin guards he wears, whether he has an underarmor sleeve and what color, and yes, even type of socks/sock length.

This is the type of system that has been standard in single player sports games for years. 2k16 might have the most ambitious single player career mode but this whole accessories on the VC server thing has firmly held them back behind their competitors in this area

As much as I appreciate fellow customization enthusiats, let's keep this thread on track about the official 2k roster guys.

I intended this thread to be for everyone. Accessories get little to no attention as is, I don't want to further divide people.

I'm still on current gen but I do have nba2k16, does anyone know if they will update James harden sneaker contract to addidas because he's still wearing Nike on my system. and him switching over to adidas is one of the main reasons I brought the game

Copeland won't get one this year either I'm guessing as he has the same headscan as last year. A headscan which wouldn't allow the addition of a headband due to a glitch.

It seems this year that 2k is only adding scanned shoes to players. So I'll have those in a separate list now. Also, they are staying away from custom colorways as well. I'm guessing this is for player movement within MyLeague/MyGM/MyCareer purposes.

Hey, I've found that if you equip a different accessory on the same arm (i.e. Arm sleeve, or elbow pad) It will take that specific shoulder sleeve off and your new accessory will be there. Then from there, you can go to "remove item" and the new accessory (that replaced the shoulder sleeve) will be taken off. Hope that helps. For some reason, "remove item" works on every accessory on the arm except the shoulder sleeve. It took me a while to figure that out.
