I didn't understand how broken this mode is until I tried playing it with and without friends after making jerseys and arena. Literally tried for the last 2-3 hours to get a game, but there is always a problem that occurs. When I try as a walk-on the lobby never fills up.. ever.

It's like they never tested the mode before ..

If we get not infos next week about whats going on and the costom courts than this game will fly out of my window! I bought this game because we get crew back but what i see at the moment it's just the jordan rec center .. 2k17 is died for me .... also if my name is 2k game all day every day. I was so happy to see Pro am but now .. ITS' A JOKE !!!

For such a magnificent game and dev team - it's appaling at how bad this component is. I just don't understand their vision of how this is supposed to work. I think the word "broken" is the most overused and incorrectly applied used term around these boards. But that word just may apply here.

After 6 days " Release Date " we got no infos yet! I paid for a broken mode ?

You can't say they will fixed that soon .. If i pay money than it should also work !!

I will not buy 2k17! because they tell things which are no true.. So they will show us things in month for 2k17 which are mabye not true ..... I have no more trust 2k! I'm sorry

Perhaps you can try the other game modes they provide?

Since when has any sports game release gone without a hitch? Madden has their rookie issues in franchise mode, FIFA has some horrendous connections and issues with drafts, MLB The Show has even had their fair share of complaints. I don't know how long you've been purchasing sports games, but you should know by now that "oh I paid $60 everything should work on Day 1" is totally false and HAS been for a very long time.

They'll fix it and it'll be fine. Once again, also the first year of implementation.

On the positive side, the lag in all other modes is minimal and plays almost like I'm playing offline. At least this is my experience. When they get ProAm fixed this will be a great game.

I could also play 2 games and it was without lag !! but it will be much more fun if we can play at our courts . I made Terminal 23

Exactly! This happens every year, and we still get posts like the one you are quoting, angrily proclaiming they'll never buy again or that they've had enough and if the following year's installation isn't pristine and perfectly oh so refined upon release, then they are finished! And what do you know, they come back the next year and the inevitable, perpetual cycle continues.

Should it be this way? No. But it's just a fact that these annual games will have some annoying bugs and other issues after its initial release. I'm not as big of a gamer as I used to be. I was going to wait to buy 2K16, but I bought it after using a couple of Wal-Mart gift cards that hacked off half the price. I knew from the get go there'd be some annoying problems. 2K has a pretty notorious track record for it. A lot of folks have the mentality of, "If we are loud enough, 2K will hear us and *has* to fix things by next year's installation!", but those are unrealistic pipe dreams.

The people working on the Pro-Am stuff have been feverishly working on fixes, so they haven't been able to follow any forum posts. I decided to chime in to give some kind of a heads up. I said probably, because I don't want to make any guarantee that I'm not involved in and can't back up. That said, the patch is almost done and just needs some more internal QA before we give it to Sony & MS for approval. Once in Sony & MS, it may take a few more days or a few more weeks to go live depending on how quickly it can make it through the process.

I totally understand it sucks that something you're looking forward to playing isn't working great out of the box. There's nothing I can say at this point to fix that. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that we're aware of these complaints and issues and people have been working very hard trying to get these issues fixed as soon as they possibly can.

I understand you trying to save you and your colleagues asses...but uh...ya......you can't tell me a pre-nba season release deadline didn't have anything to do with yall's shabby (and I say that LIGHTLY) QA across all spectrums of the game??...do you realize what 2k does (despite contractual disclaimers) by printing material wrapped around the back of a game that claims the enclosed game supports a feature called PRO-AM, when in fact it actually doesn't??...It's called FALSE ADVERTISING...Do you realize the implications??!! google it under a corporate law paradigm and let me know what you find out....if not...my next post will not only highlight your employer's failures, but it will also initiate the process of bringing about a class action law suit to your company.....TIME=MONEY.......have a good day....
