I don't normally post on boards, I signed up here purely to vent. I feel like there are more people like me out there, they just don't waste their time on internet boards.

But this **** has to be said, otherwise this company will continue to put out broken games. If there were more people like me around, I would have known better and not bought this game.

There's nothing more irritating than customers that stick up for companies that screw them over (that Pro-Am trailer sold me and many others on this broken game).

They should be issuing apologies on every form of social media, they should be shouting from the rooftops pledging to fix the problems as soon as possible, they should be giving us tons of free VC.... but no.. what do we get? Some vague tweet with no real info that downlplays how broken Pro-Am is.

Ok, I'm not actually emotionally upset... I have sh*t to do - but I'm not going to start posting things like "It's Okay, I love the 2k dev team.. they tried their best, I'll pay them $20 more if they call and ask me.... I'll just find other things to do in the game"

If you sell me a car and the features I purchased it for don't work, I'm not going to just enjoy other aspects of the car - I'm getting it fixed and I'm getting a refund/credit, etc. etc.

We're customers paying for a product - think of it that way. I didn't get what I paid for, I want apologies and credits not excuses and sugar coating.

Treat it like the car in your analogy, take it back, get your money back. Obviously you'll take the hit in regards to depreciation, but hey, at least it's one less problem you'll have to deal with. Obviously you feel 2K wronged you, so instead of wasting your time with the game, on a message board, and 'not actually getting emotional', take it back, be done with it. Spend your money and your time on something worthwhile to you. That's what EYE would do, but I'm a solutions oriented person. I try not to complain about things I can change.

For ME, it's worth it. But again, this is not the feature I purchased it for, I can wait 2 weeks or so for them to patch this as they said they would.

You should take 2K to court and try to get your $60 back due to false advertising. I'd be curious to receive updates on your progress towards this goal.

I saw an IGN and Gamespot review on YouTube that gives it high scores, they either didn't mention it all or glossed over it.

Paid advertisements, basically? Even looking at 2k, if you didn't know Pro-Am was broken, you STILL wouldn't know it was broken.

I wish I had known before I bought this game based off of its good reviews.... I'm their perfect customer - a sucker.

when I saw their advertisements for Pro-Am my first thought was "well, either that or MyTeam is not gonna work at launch. It's gonna be one or the other."

Don't buy NBA2k expecting everything to work online.

I honestly would avoid this game if I didn't like playing offline so much.

I'm not sure about the East Coast West Coast problems but i'm in Texas and haven't gotten into a ProAm game since the second day I bought the game and I had it at launch. I got into a couple of games the first day but now it just hangs in the locker room forever.
