    I second this.

On MyGM/All-Star, Lavine has a clear lane to the basket (absolutely no one in his way) and lays it up. It also happens on fast breaks, which is super disappointing.

Yeah I hope they fix it I mean they dont need to get stupid with a fix but make it realistic. I mean if your going to take the dunk out some start with the guys who don't dunk not with guys who actually dunk in the games.

I mean it's bad enough that the team is missing players like Sheed and Memo and has to start Darko, smh...

But the few bench players that it does have at least have to be on point...

Darvin Ham was one of the best dunkers of his time... was in the dunk competition before... and even shattered a backboard in college... Yet in 2K he's all layups when it comes to getting in the lane for an oop...

Darvin Ham (Age 30): 50 Driving Dunk, 50 Standing Dunk, 40 Contact Dunk
Actual Production: 19 Dunks in 484 minutes, 32.0% of FGA (this is quite high)

To be fair, Stauffer has not been watching basketball for very long, and shouldn't be expected to read something as complex as a stat sheet.

To be fair, we shouldn't expect a Hall of Fame system to be governed and implemented by someone with historical knowledge/understanding.

I can understand that Stauffer didn't watch every single teams full roster throughout history...

But in this day in age if you don't know much about a player, it's easy to pull up all of his statistics or do a quick YouTube video in order to find more accuracy...

Otherwise, why not simply hire more staff to help fully adjust the rosters to be as accurate as possible...

I mean, Darvin Ham is arguably the best dunker on the team, and for him to be rated so low is laughable/inexcusable...

                Oh well...

Yeah, but then how do you explain my issue with Lavine going for layups on wide open fast breaks?

Have you taken a moment to understand the point?

It's not about posterizing people. It's about a simple dunk when the context of the situation is right.

If I'm on a fast break with Mudiay and I just want to do a simple dunk then I believe he should. He's a 6-5 athletic guy.

That's all. Not asking to nba jam it over people.

First of all you also quoted... I'm a girl, thank you very much, so I would prefer not to be called somed guy. Secondly I was referring to his general size, athleticism, standing vertical jump and running vertical jump all of which have been on display and are actually on paper as well due to his parttaking in the draft combine. So the athleticism is definitely there.

Secondly I do not know whether you know it, but running around the court for that long jumping that high, that quickly as often as he does is simply a showcase of phenomenal athleticism on his part which again serves to demonstrate my point.

Thirdly he played 12!!! Games in China. How much do highlights of 12 games really count especially given that he is primarily a point guard and unless the offense is run in such a poor way as OKC did for the last couple of years and are called Russel Westbrook. even point guards with impressive dunk skills will hardly end up in a posterizing position.

Lastly I'd just like to add: why would he go for the complicated dunk? Maybe he is fine with the 2 points? Nobody asked 2k to give him all sorts of dunk packages. And tbh last season we have seen a new high in boneheadedness when it came to open dunks and layups so why would he make it special? Also it was his first pro season. The athletic gifts are there but like AD he will surely benefit from his first NBA season to get even more ripped.

I agree. I remember Darvin Ham well. Stauffer or whoever did the 04 Pistons ratings obviously never saw him. Pistons dunks start at the 40 second mark.
