I can say it's rare this year. But when it happens you can feel the momentum like a guy is crazy hot . I had a friend go JR Smith vs the Hawks in the playoffs hot yesterday in the pro am .

One thing I have learned in 16 is that offensive consistency handles hot and cold factors on offense : how quick you can get hot and how long it lasts as well as how quick you go cold and how long the cold streak lasts.

Consistency also handles how often or how rare it is to achieve a green release.

What the general population is experiencing is a drop in consistency boosts for offense in 2k16 and my speculation is that this was a deliberate intent as part of the design plan.

You realize that a REALLY GOOD 3 shooter makes LESS THAN 50% of his shots. Meaning that your more likely to moss then make a shot. Going 2 for 2 is going to be very unlikely.

What i've noticed playing myleague online with 3pt succes = 52 (slider).

I'm running a good 3pt shooting team with
Rubio - K Korver - P Pierce - L Aldridge - Hibbert
S Napier - R Allen - J Crawford - Garnett - Perkins

Let say 4 out of them is lethal from 3 pt
the other 3 is decent

I'm not running only 3pt plays tho, but:

- back-to-back 3's happend to me at least 8 times during 13 games span
- back-to-back 3's by one player 3 times - Ray x2 + Kyle
- 3-3-shot missed by other player-rebound-3 happend once - Kyle

I believe it has a lot to do with shot fatique and offensive consistency.

This still isn't fixed. I have to say this is the most annoying thing in the game. Even in offline I can't hit with B+ although the release is near perfect. Oh and it's impossible to get a perfect release on a 3pt shot. I play on HOF so this feels so unfair, better teams just feel unbeatable like this.

HOF was made to be unbeatable...on purpose. If you are playing on HOF, you are severely nerfed.

It's not fixed because it isn't an issue. This thread has numerous videos that show that it's not a problem that needs fixing, including the one right above this very post. Plus, it isn't impossible to get a green release. I got one with Kevin Love the last time I played.

So after the patch is it possible to make consecutive threes? It's pathetic that I have to pass up open 3s because the game won't allow you to make more than two in a row.

It makes playing with certain teams very hard. I run with the Celtics and between the missed layups. Ball movement creates open looks. It hurts my soul when I run a pick and roll pass to the weak side man drive the close out and hit Crowder in the corner for a wide open 3 and its a miss. Then go on defense and k.Irving hits me with 8-9 dribble moves gets fouled/makes the shot. And I go back on offense for varied results.

I can always see where I make mistakes so it keeps me sane. But I'm tried of losing to Clevland. Lebron and Kyrie don't get tired with extremely high usuage. And if they do it doesn't seem to effect them. Why is Shumperr so f***** good in this game.


Sorry. It is hard to hit back to back with a non Elite-Elite shooter.(or iman shumpert)

I actually just made 3 straight in row for 9-0 run. Two back to back with Beal then another with Otto after a turnover. Wish I taped it, but I was even thinking about it at the time, till i seen this thread.

Streaks, hot/cold are in full effect post patch....so there's a lot more of these...
