And really when I think about it they pretty much only updated d rose with the mask I guess to redeem they self from last year when live updated Russ with his mask and killed 2ks version of Russell Westbrook lolbvs.What was the point of doing all those updates to D Rose when he's not even the star he once was.Steph is one of your guys cover athletes,map,and pretty much the face of the nba rite now and does not look at all like current day Steph..That's mid to end season last year Steph smh.But all gear in my player store is currently 15% lol..I get a message like that every time I fire up the game smh..Not buying this game no more unless I end up getting a pretty decent Pc....Ok I'm done ranting now lol

Do you remember Justin Hamilton ? That dude played most of 14-15 season for Miami Heat, now he plays in Valencia. Well that player originally in 2K had a facemask on but in reality he wore facemask only 1-2 weeks when season started, I swear to god if some NBA team would bring him back now that he would be that same model with facemask on ^^

You do realize Live 16 has had more player appearance updates then 2k16 so far right? Yes, 2k has the more complete game and customization but they've definitely gotten lazy. They use the fame you die hard 2k fans have given them, get big name players (over using MJ time and time again for sales) and ruin a great mode (myplayer, which isn't your player at all this year) for the bigger name in Spike Lee and forget about key updates to the game. They've gotten complacent and it's showing. Glad it hasn't gone unnoticed though. They need to know that. Heck i'd say the quality of their graphics and face scans has diminished over the years as well with, imo, 2k14 having the better overall face scans and lighting. Yes, you have the flashy life like animations (that imo can look really weird sometimes) that get you the attention in advertisements (harden cookin, stephen curry mouthguard) but when in comes to overall graphics (skin tones, facial scans, jersey color accuracy, lighting) they've declined. And they dont seem to try to correct things mid season. Live has gotten a lot of crap (some for good reason) the last couple of years but at least they have worked hard during the games lifespan to try and improve it, player appearance included. Still enjoy the overall game of 2k16 but as a graphics first kind of guy, I'm disappointed from what I've seen so far from 2k, or lack thereof. I applaud the PC community, you folks are doing better than even the folks over at 2k, and while I don't have 2k for PC the work they do (for free) should really open the eyes of the team working on 2k16 and make them feel lazy.

Completly agree with you that Live is puting in work to better their game. Overall lighting and sound is better but the lack of customization and terrible animations just break immersion and is the only thing keeping me from switching. Lives accessories are not 5years outdated and arm sleeves are actually arm length not elbow sleeves etc unlike 2k. They get that stuff right for 17 and they have my money day one.

Completly agree with you that Live is puting in work to better their game. Overall lighting and sound is better but the lack of customization and terrible animations just break immersion and is the only thing keeping me from switching. Lives accessories are not 5years outdated and arm sleeves are actually arm length not elbow sleeves etc unlike 2k. They get that stuff right for 17 and they have my money day one.

Lol @ the white version of Rip..Yea I definitely remember Justin Hamilton just for the mask alone because if I remember correctly he was the only player in the whole game that had a mask smh..But yea you are 100% correct if he was to sign with a team today or tomorrow he would be the same masked J Hamilton from 2k15 smh..I think they really need to just kinda fall back off the myplayer/mycareer stuff.Its really just sad because to me graphically the game is beautiful and I dont see how much more realistic it can get gameplay wise for a video game.The lack of up to dateness with player appearances just kills it for me.

While they are appreciated I guess I would even rather them chill out on the frequent ratings increases and decreases in place of them updating appearances and keeping things fresh and up to date.Atleast keep players up to date until all star break.I really dont think thats too much to ask.

Personally for me, definition of perfect ball game is balanced offense vs defense ratio, less sliding, more player control/responsiveness, smarter defense AI + these up to date things such as roster updates that inculde tendencies, badges, player likeness + jerseys who aren't connected to rosters rather go back to old system with all jerseys being unlocked via code and voila, i would sign contract with them to buy their game lifetime.

There needs to be a change in the lighting, skin tones, and jersey appearance of this game. If you look at 2k14 to this point I think you see the downgrade in all those categories I've listed. Yes the game looks realistic to a certain degree, but that has more to do with the comprehensive set of animation and facial expressions in the game. Those are great. However, when talking about player appearance and likeness, you have to get those three things I bring up right. There's been no change to 2k16 from 2k15, some added faces and animations. But the core lighting, skin tone problems are there as well.

And here is the 2k16 PG



Notice the pinkish hue and the overall skin tone being too light? Yeah, that's a trend you see a lot in 2k16

Here's Jahlil Okafor, the albino version. (the PC community corrected this in a mod, looks much better)



Here is an example of really bad color depth and accuracy for the jerseys. Which really hasn't been corrected at all for certain jerseys. For this example I'll be using a screenshot from 2k15 knowing this particular jersey has looked the same the last two games.




Jabari Parker, real life vs 2k16, again notice the lighter skin tone with pinkish hue



Paul Pierce, 2k14 vs 2k16. Same exact face scan, look at the key difference here, lighting and skin tone.




Anthony Davis, 2k14 vs 2k16 comparing with a real life image, same issues here too.

It's looked this way for back to back games. 2k17 needs this corrected. There's no depth to the jersey colors or jerseys themselves, lighting has been subpar, with a faded aspect to it and don't get me started on skin tones.

The funny thing is 2k colors have always been off in certain situations but the lighting and skin tones need to be corrected, I wonder if 2k has the full color spectrum at their use because this shouldn't be an issue anymore especially if the modders can do this but something I have learned is that when they fix one thing they break another so we're always in wait and see moment and I finding it harder and harder to justify the $60 every year.

With these comparison screens there is just no denying the lighting has gotten way worse since 14 with no explanation as to why. The same happened after 2k11 the beautiful lighting was scrapped never to return till next gen which is looking like repeating itself.

I think they use bad color filter in game, i can't find other solution to these wrong colors without saying someone is colorblind, but yeah i think they use wrong color filter because on PC version with small modification true colors are possible.

As much as i enjoy playing ps4 version of 2K from my sofa on big tv i must really give a praise for PC guys, just take a look of these beautiful updates..

As much as i enjoy playing ps4 version of 2K from my sofa on big tv...

What stops you from doing so on PC? I have my PC connected to my TV and play most of the times sitting/lying in my bed and playing on my TV.

I know for that set up my friend but the thing that pc must be running who also happens to be very loud due to graphics card and coolers annoys me little bit but it's a good option if you have silent PC
