naively, i do... but, realistically, this thread is, at best, a way for us details-sticklers to vent/be friggin OCD, and it's an outlet by which, hopefully the dev team can take away from.. Mike Stauffer already noticed the efforts, and said he'd give a heads up to the art team... whether the art team follows through or not, is solely up to them... i'd like to stick to the adage that, i'd rather be doing something than nothing --- and this thread is it

Art team receives salaries for what ? Handful players look same just like year ago, art team is total joke, jersey collars are incorrect, shoes are 1/4 scanned, arenas lightning is joke, accessories can't mesh or overlap..what art team ? I believe it's all done by one person

I don't know if I'd say they're a joke. There's a lot of beautiful things in the game. But they definitely seem to lack the passion to get things as correct as possible.


I mean, if this was my baby, and I was in charge of this stuff, I'd wanna make everything look as good/accurate as I could.


Hairstyles is a biggie. Simple fixes like court colors (Bucks still WAY too dark), jersey colors/inaccuracies, skin tones (Giannis should be lighter, Middleton much darker, etc).


Heck, body types are just bad. Even without body scanning they should be able to replicate a players body by watching video/looking at pics. Most players are still too thick. Especially legs. Shorts are too long/baggy, etc.


Lighting could still be done better, tho it is better than last year. If they could get it closer to the lighting of the halftime highlights that'd be more realistic.

The hex pads represented in the game are nothing like what players actually wear today and the arm sleeve pads are 3times the size they are in real life, along with there being no difference really bewtween the elbow sleeve and arm sleeve in length. Dont get me wrong the game is awesome but yeah its as if they just went with near enough is good enough.
Like where are the adidas accessories with nba logos at the top of the sleeves like lillards for example. So close to perfection that honestly could be achieved in one patch but will most likely be trickled throughout the next few years of releases.

Brook Lopez is growing his hair again. I know in past years 2k had a cyberface with hair for Brook. Hoepfully the art team updates

Props to the OP and all who contributed here. Wish someone from 2k would throw a bone in here or the cyberface update thread to say they WILL or WILL NOT be updating faces for 2k16 to give people hope or closure....

They obviously browse the forums. If they don't plan on updating any appearances, just tell us. I'm still holding out hope, but not holding my breath.

Still waiting on a simple update of adding a headband to Willie Cauley-Stein. LeBrons comes and goes daily yet its been weeks and still nothing for Willie. But hey if we could just do it ourselves there would be no need for this.

I haven't posted much on here but since joining OS I have always loved what I have seen. The ability for the 2k community to truly have an impact on the game is something that I both admire and respect. It's something rarely seen in any other game.

Hey any idea when if ever we will get player updates such as the harrison barnes body scan Ronnie2k put up before the game even came out? Or they holding onto that stuff for over a year for 2k17?
