If you're seeing players play the same way, it's probably due to people with low basketball IQ playing exactly like they played 2K15.

I truly hope your view stays a minority view & 2K doesn't cave to the tears of players hoping to fill the park/proam with their carbon copy MyPlayers of rare stars. Last year was unbearable due to it.

I agree that your type should have a separate mode where you can live out your athlete fantasies in your own little sandbox & keep you away from the online modes.
You're joking right? MyPark and Pro-Am is run by small guards who just shoot twos, and bigs who stand under the rim waiting for a rebound or pass so that they can try and dunk it. Every game plays the exact same way.

There is zero differential between players.

But at the end of the day what about the MyCareer players? I don't really care about mypark. I play games occasionally, MyPark isn't of interest to me, it isn't team basketball.

The mode is called MyCareer and the game is NBA 2k16. If I want to build a player up to be the next MJ or Kobe, or any legend I should be able to build him up to that I shouldn't have CAPs for a mode that I don't even play incorporated in to the mode I do.

That is my issue. On the MyPark it doesn't matter because even
Ray has they caps you have but in MyCareer frickin computer generated rookies can come out of the draft with a 99 rating.

I understand there are those that want to be a 6th man or a role player and that's fine, don't max your player. But there are those who naturally lead or want to be MJ. That should be an option.

It shouldn't be that my "rated 94" maxed Shooting and Playmaking SG (trying to get the On Court Coach Badge) should outside of my career be actually rated an 83 or that Melo is a higher rated offensive player than my guy.

I can't get alpha badge because of this stupid new ratings caps even though it says I'm the highest rated player on the team by far.

I added boost and played practice and I was magically given the alpha badge then it was taken away after a few games. It doesn't make sense to me.

Seperate the modes or bring back Create a Legend and allow facescan in that. Something for the non cheesers.

The thing is the PG & C position are now the OP positions. A balanced guard can shoot &Dunk. An outside center can shoot & dunk. Run into any center & pg combo in the park & you're gonna lose every time. Unless they're bad. And even still a center Will get every rebound on a miss. Or 70% of them.

Then the caps for centers are way higher than actual nba players. It's like 2k saw 7 ft SFs as a glitch when it's their fault that wAs possible. Nobody glitched the game to make a 7 ft guy. You could literally run a squad of 3 pgs & 2 centers and beast in pro am. Or 2 pgs & 1 center in park. It's like they went to extreme. I like that smaller guys feel fast but the ball control caps for sg&sf are a little extreme to me.

hit the practice with your player then upgrade everything to max.
then you can have your 99 overall player.

i already seen guys rated 90+.

you can actually max out shooting , inside, athletic, playmaking and defense.

only thing you cant do is have every rating to be 99.

i mean if you really want be better then lebron , you can just create yourself and assign yourself to a team and play my league or mygm with your position fixed.

I fail to believe you guys can't be effective without having every stat in the 90s . And that PG center talk needs to stop . It should be hard to stop if you're undersized . Hell a SG-PF combo is just as effective . Just because you lose a few games doesn't mean it's op . Go to practice . Get better teammates . Get badges etc... I'm a 6'11 PF and 7'3 centers aren't a match for me at all.

ive got a 6`6 PF who could be 73 speed.

You're not really 99. In MyCareer, 2K has made it so you may think you're a 99, but you're not. This was found out in Pro-AM when players were seeing their inflated 99 overall go down to as low as an 87.

A 63 speed , but my length and height and Max defense allows me to guard even on the perimeter !

I molded this guy after Shawn Kemp . I think a Sir Charles would be cool honestly .

See now i know you're just blowing smoke and have no idea what you're talking about. Big men are supposed to grab boards, protect the paint, and smash on people. Matter of fact, even when people were glitching they would try and pull my big man out of the paint so we would switch and my buddy would stay in the paint and get boards over little guys.

I was just running with 24th letter and he's a big and we dominated a few games until we got a couple bigger guards that could space the floor and they ran us off the court with good d and picks we didn't have the personnel to match up with 2 short guards chasing some shooting SFs.

The differential is there and it needs to stay.

boost and such dont work in pro-am as far as i can tell.

I have less of a problem with attribute caps as I do with the grouping of attributes together. That is what prevents players from having a different feel to them, not the attribute caps.

No.. Your MyCareer's overall is inflated. You see your real one in Pro-Am. I have a hard time believing you that your 89 overall is the same as in Pro-Am (there's a whole discussion about this in the patch thread). Once you hit 88 overall, every two upgrades added earns you +1 overall. You start out with 75 upgrades and unlock 25. You earn 99 overall after you've unlocked 24 of those 25.

An easy example to prove that your MyCareer's overall is inflated. My 6'8" SF is supposedly a 99 overall, while Lebron James is a 94. Where as Lebron is better in every single attribute.

I don't care about having every rating a 99. I suggested a variable upgrade or something like live does in 16 where you can upgrade each stat individually.

Think of it this way, they give you say 1000 block and you can use it to upgrade each individual stat.

So if I want a fast dunker that can shoot well, then I wouldn't be able to max out ball handling and my defense will lack severely. I mean the 100 upgrade system is perfect in my opinion but the blocks of upgrades aren't.

Also I would play those mode if they used facescan. If that were an option I would do it, or if there was an offline only MyCareer I would do it.

But ultimately what I am saying is
MyPark and MyCareer should be separate. Don't let the cheesers in MyPark affect how the people that mainly play MyCareer. They feel different and people don't play both too often. You eith make a deep career or you play 1000s of park games and try to become a legend 5

Me personally I want to have as I stated before a player develop strengths and weaknesses, to turn from Air Ball Kobe to Kobe today.

To turn from Slasher Lebron to the best all around player in the NBA.

To turn from Young MJ to Old MJ.

You d MJ was amazing but he had his strengths in mainly athleticism.
Her could shoot mid range but still his first step was deadly.

Older MJ less athleticism better shot, better overall skill.

Make it work and ungroup things because Steve Nash is blazingly fast, he's not a dunker.

I see no need to group speed and dunking ability together. I couldn't care less about dunking but speed and quickness is VERY important in basketball.

What's the problem so what if Lebron has better attributes than you you can still play just as good as Lebron, if not better, with a maxed out my career player. If 2k gave you the ability to have all of Lebrons attributes you would play better than than him in every facet of basketball whats the fun in that lol dont you want a little bit of a challenge playing My Career, My Park, and Pro AM.
