I am glad everyone can't make a Jordan or Lebron. I like the caps.

Without them all you would play online are Lebron and Joordan clones.

With the current setup; there is variety.

So Park and ProAm can be filled with those kind of players? No thank you. If they allow that, then everyone and their mom will be unstoppable.

A 6'8" SF speed caps at 77. Lebron's speed is 94 if I remember correctly. Do you not see a problem with that?

But are you still able to grab a rebound and take it coast to coast in game?

Not in a speed race against Lebron, or even KD for that matter on HOF.

Actually, not really, especially on higher difficulties, unless you maybe slip up on a live practice +15 speed boost, plus the +5 boost you can get with VC. You get hawked down and bodied into a forced stop more often than not.

This is exactly the reason why they need to separate the MyPark and MyCareer guys. I don't play MyPark and why should MyCareer be affected because of MyPark cheesers/glitchers?

You wouldn't be able to out speed them if you had their ratings anyway. Since your speed would be the same. That is where dribble moves come into play.

You do not need 99 speed to take the ball coast to coast off a rebound.

While i agree the speed caps are pretty harsh, the reality is if you wanna beat lebron in a foot race, go hit the gym and try and make your way to the nba. This is a video game, and this year they said you can't be a jack of all trades without penalty. I'm not sorry you don't like the stat caps, because I'm almost exclusively an online player and since last gen this is the first year my game has been effective. I'm an inside scoring 6'3 pg and i can run my drive and kick game with pretty good success. I'm more concerned with people still making ridiculous shots and some of the passing logic than i am worried about speed.

You seem to be missing the point. The fact that you can't make a Westbrook or Derrick Rose type player is infuriating. You are limited by caps.

If I had to pick between my 6'1" PG who has a max speed of 87 or a 6'3" Derrick Rose who has a speed of 98. Who would I pick?

The caps kill any sort of differential between players. In MyPark, everybody is the exact same player. Every big man plays exactly the same.

I just don't see a need for you to rage about it when you can do the same things as every player you've mentioned.

I can accept a thread with well thought out suggestions or constructive criticism, but please stop acting like you can't average 40, 10, and 10 on the cpu with a mediocre MyPlayer.

Can the caps be improved? yes. Do they stop you from being able to dominate in any way you want in MyCareer? Hell no.

After all those 7ft SFs, 7'2 demi god PGs, and 7'3 Do it all centers something drastic had to be put in place and I'm glad that 2k has done it. What we all need to remember is that this is 2ks FIRST TRY at capping these MyPlayers for the park. Whining about not being able to have 99 ratings is not what is going to improve this capping system.

And to the people talking about separating the two modes, yes that is a good idea, but right now there is a demi god glitch just from having two MyPlayers on the same profile. Do you really want to rush 2k into separating online and offline MyPlayers? Remember when you would get your MyPlayer to a high overall, finish a season, and the next time you tried to load it up your file would get corrupted and you would lose that player entirely and have to start over?

We do not need to rush this company(who is already on a hectic production schedule) to do anything. It only causes glitches. What we do need, are calm, rational, well thought out suggestions for improvement that won't make this company panic and mess up something instead of making it better.

You're either a liar or a fool. The caps, along with the different scoring styles has increased the variety of players in MyPark/ProAm.

There are no jack of all trades, there are players that do certain things well and players who do other things well. That's the entire purpose of the caps.

If you're seeing players play the same way, it's probably due to people with low basketball IQ playing exactly like they played 2K15.

I truly hope your view stays a minority view & 2K doesn't cave to the tears of players hoping to fill the park/proam with their carbon copy MyPlayers of rare stars. Last year was unbearable due to it.

I agree that your type should have a separate mode where you can live out your athlete fantasies in your own little sandbox & keep you away from the online modes.

I completely agree. I have never played MyPark and I will never play MyPark. Why should I be penalized because of MyPark? I want the ability to make a MyCareer player anyway I want. Add a separate MyPark attribute section with all these lame limitations.
