Since we're all at an advanced stage in our development and have acclimated ourselves to the controls better than we have in the first few weeks, I'd like to see changes that makes it a tad harder for the offense to score.

Dunks in Traffic: +1(Love that they're actually a 'thing' this year, I just see them miss a bit more often than I feel I should)
Contact Layups: -1
Contested Mid Range: -1
Open Mid Range: -2
3 Point: -1

Not true. I play with the warriors and Curry misses them lay ups all the time. So it's definitely not automatic.

I played numerous warrior users and he never misses, even when a big comes over for a contest its just a high arch layup over the bigs hands and it goes in. I played a guy last night and he did not miss one of those......literally.

That kind of a layup is a game of H O R S E type of layup. Which is way its such an amazement in real life when you see it and you hear the commentators talk about it when it happens because you dont see it that often neither is it that successful.

I don't really see actual contested 3s (where you have green defense) going off very often, although sometimes contact layups without a hitch despite a size mismatch as well as good defence. But part of the inside/outside scoring imbalance at the moment is because big guys just get the ball stripped without insanely good ball management, and even then you'll sometimes lose the ball before you can actually input any command.

This means you need to execute much more careful passing to a big guy than a little guy, which means, generally big guys will play further out and smaller guys will generally play further out. So the game gravitates towards outside shooting.

Shots from the post just aren't worth it, since it's very easy to strip the ball from someone in the post, and with the general shift towards small, faster players in MyPark anyone will cover you very quickly and you can't reliably get post shots into the net one-on-one regardless of the space created with a fade away, stepback, or hop. The animations are slow so they're easy to block or just move in and defend. Even up-and-unders are very easy to counter, and you will have the ball stripped from you.

They need to revert the %'s back to release date period. They were perfect then.

the shooting percentages right now are perfect. contested shots dont go in often and wide open shots with great shooters are going in consistently. ITS PERFECT.

I think it depends on the mode. I haven't played a ton of regular online games yet, but Ive played some friends and I am pretty sure the shooting %s is where they should be.

Also the Park gameplay is very good, you can lock people down. I wouldn't change a thing about it. The %s there remind me of 11 so much.

All I would change is the CPU shot %s in MyCareer. That's why I wish he could tweak by mode and not all around.

Maybe im in the minority but the park 3 point percentage seems very high recently, its all people shoot, contested or not. Seems like good defense is not being rewarded as it should.

I said something similar to this a few pages back, and I still stand by it.. I thought it was perfect before the last patch.

I dont care pick any % and then leave it anywhere between 0% and 100% just quit changing.

Yeah, tweaking the game within the first month was dumb. Most people weren't that good at the game yet and now everyone plays exactly the same as last year. Shots off the dribble need a huge nerf. I mean huge. For the sake of running through a thousand screens and chasing some side to side kid is back. The only difference is with on ball defense being upped they just wait for the pick.

The same tactics are working this year and it's really stupid because i thought it was so much better at release.

Contested Shots is a problem in Mycareer especially on HOF. Too many of them goes in. I am not sure if this has to do with shooting percentage but I have seen too many shots that literally bounce on the rims like 3 or more times goes in. I don't if this has do wit the HOF cheese by the CPU but its kinda ridiculous. I should start recording those events because it happen so often.

Transition defense needs to be addressed at the park. Sometimes my guy will jog (6'7 PG) back on defense while my opponent is in a full sprint. I am holding down the turbo button as well and he sometimes still jogs back.

Yes in the park it feels like too many bad shots are being rewarded

I just don't see bad shots being rewarded honestly. It's very balanced to me. Only shot that I hate goes in a lot in the leaning jumpers from mid range.

percentages are just fine. finally making open shots consistently no changes needed. play defense.
