This isnt a meter game, its a game that happens to have meters. You dont need green releases to be successful.

Nah, shooter's do miss open shots still.

        You suggest 60% OK 3/5

You mean tell me you cannot do something in your power to disturb the average player on his 6th attempt and have him go 3 for 6?

Out of those 6 attempts how many are wide open uncontested?

In park that's about how many attempts your opponent will get in a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4.

Sounds like the ones in use now are also made up or they wouldn't be asking for our input.

If you want to do some extensive field research and come back with results, more power to you, ill support you but I don't have the time or patience.

          Otherwise...33%.

And hans, forget what i said. This argument is going nowhere. Ballers are just fine the way they are. [emoji106]

Dumb question...can you shoot better on different camera angles? I switched from broadcast to 2K, and it seems like my shots are falling at a higher rate.

I need to do research? How often to "wide open" shots go in on 2K as it currently stands? I am sure you have NO clue, haven't chartered ANYTHING, nor do you have at least a game's worth of WIDE OPEN attempts.

But you are screaming, raise it 33%. Raise it 33% from what, to what percentage?

But EYE need to do research? Yea aight

So I'm the only one that feels like the pro am play as a team has turned into a turbo fest? I seen a 7 '3 center run from under the basket to the three point line to block a shot . Game is fast as hell

Some people have noticed the same thing in another thread. But I think it's because you can see the player better.

If open shots at the park increase 33%....then they'd pretty mic go in 100% of the time

Hell, might as well count them for. 4 points while we're at it...

For this thread, please limit requests to shooting. Thanks.
I think the initial release shooting % was perfect. Open mid-range jumpers were very high (as it should be) while 3pt shots were in the 30-40% range. All of a sudden, mid-range is inconsistent but 3pt shots are seemingly going back into the 2K15 patch 4 percentages. NO!

I'm mainly a pro-am player and I see a lot of contested 3pt shots going in while good looks from mid-range rattle out. Also, lightly contested layups are inconsistent even with high inside scoring.

For some of us who have a "balanced" player, we rely on mid-range to spread the floor since we can't hit the 3's at a high %. Nerfing the mid range creates a a severe imbalance to where the only effective players are short outside scoring guards and 7'3" inside scoring centers.

Open midrange a shouldn't be THAT high, especially by players who don't make them. The open offense falls at 45% in the NBA, though this probably includes some long 2s. Dirk shoots 60% open and he's like an all-time great at it.

When the game was released the reports were that people were only taking midrange, which is opposite of what the league is moving towards. Someone who can't hit the three doesn't really spread the floor enough in reality nowadays.

I had to redo my slider set, as what was ok on Broadcast, became very easy on 2K... and I was always a Broadcast cam guy, but really gave 2K cam a shot this year and LOVE it.

I seriously find it so much easier to shoot, pass and esp. staying in front of opponent. I'm sure if I went back to Broadcast with the sliders I'm currently using, I'd get rocked. That should say enough.
