Is anyone else having trouble connecting to 2K's servers? I've never had a problem before today, and suddenly I'm dead in the water.

I can connect to PSN, the internet's fine, and NBA2k's server status says it's fine.

What gives?

The official website doesn't recognize the error codes, which doesn't fill me with much confidence.

Ah, apparently I'm one of the lucky "few" gamers experiencing issues with servers, according to Twitter. Lovely!

Yea bro getting the same 2 error codes.. no idea why but usually give it half hour or so shud be back

I got an E-80000000 error or something like that and cant connect to their servers, was playing online in the park annd got booted, havent checked in the web to see what it says

It tells me my files are corrupted and now when I load the game back up it makes me make the myplayer again...

Just doublechecked, I got an E-82000000 error and cant connect to 2k servers since yesterday, anyone knows what can I do ? ... I was playing my park when I got dropped from a game and couldnt connect anymore, same error each time ... I have no custom roster files, no sliders, classes, proam related files, only one my player and my career file of a 72 PF

Yeah same issue here. I checked online and it says the servers are up. My internet and connection to PSN are working fine. I need to download a draft class LOL :/

2k support won't be any help, they told me to clear cache or reinstall which I'm not going to reinstall. I can't sign into the 2k16 app either even though I was able to this morning. All accounts are saying there is a connection issue so it can't be corruption can it?

I just got this issue today, 2k support is USELESS ON THIS ISSUE, i've tried reinstalling the game twice but its not helping me one bit. If anybody can help me out, I would appreciate it. The servers were working fine for me before today for the past 4 months, idk why this happened suddenly.

I think it's fixed but not sure, I made a new psn account and my player and it's working on that new account

I had to reinstall and it finally started working again! Reinstall takes forever! Something I should have tried before reinstalling. Try connecting PS4 to a lan line and resetting or powering down your router. This might fix the problem. I also tried (clearing cache) restarting the PS4 but that did not work.

Has anyone been seeing more of the efeab30c error on X1? Last night 3 of us were online and 1 of my friends kept getting that error. We assumed it was because he hadn't dl'd the latest update. He was able to get online and talk with us, but he was unable to join any MyCourts and it would not allow him to invite anyone to his MyCourt. Continuously said "moved to a new Park".

Along these lines, is there a way to force DL the latest update? You know, it's the yellow splash screen in the bottom left of the screen when roster updates, etc come out. It says to just go to the main menu and it will happen, but I was curious if there was a manual DL. In 2K15 you could go into Play Now, back out and it would DL.

Xbox One
Games on your profile that let you create alot of save files may take a VERY LONG TIME to sync data!
This solution will clear your cache and sync data. It effects all games on your profile.
Game update and patches are not effected by this process.

Network setting, Advanced settings, Alternate MAC address, select Clear, Restart system.

On Xbox One I was getting error code 4b538e50 and could not connect to the 2k server. What I did was clear the cache and that sync my data. I did that by going into the Network setting, Advanced settings, Alternate MAC address and then select Clear. Your Xbox One will need to restart for the cache to clear. When the Xbox One restarts start the game and the data should sync. This fixed my problem and I was able to connect to the 2K Server. Hope this information help someone good luck.
