It's not that simple. I've tried it. Along with jacking all of Curry's three-point tendencies to 99.

Roster edits do help a ton as do slider tweaks.

Being a retro roster guy I tweaked the game to get more mid range J's and post play - seems to get the AI performing better in that department.

I don't really cater for the 3's too much as obviously guys didn't live and die by the 3 in the 80's and 90's like they do today.

I found Shady Mike's sliders on 2kshare(PC and its posted on NLSC http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=163&t=100003 and it made a lot of difference. Guys started hunting for the 3 again. Russell Westbrook started jacking that pull-up jumper all over the place going to watch Seems like turning the inside and close shot way down as well as attack the basket while boosting mid and 3pt shot tendencies way up seems to have done the trick. I think also turning offensive awareness DOWN helped as well. Made a couple of tweaks for blocks and offensive rebounds and its damn near perfect.

I noticed a problem that some star PGs are still not taking shots (Curry Lillard for example) MCW was hunting for and jacking 3s after I tweaked some of his tendencies(for an experiment) but other guys dont seem to do it no matter what I do.

Does it need to be patched? Yea, but right now Shady's sliders are going to give you the best solution to that problem. At least right now.

It has to be patched. There's a problem with the CPU shot selection. It's overwhelmingly set to drive and pass to the inside even when that's not the player's tendencies or the team strategy. It's especially prevalent with certain point guards(like Curry) but in general they don't look for the 3. You'll never see a 3 or ally oop in transition nor do they really put up contested shots unless its late in the shot clock.

Post patch players take plenty threes, drive less and kick out more.

You're right I have literally never see a 3 or even an alley oop on the fast break. Really glaring problem. I'm actually seeing a big lack of alley oops in the half court also, although I do have that slider on 50 so could try bumping it up
