Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
I only agree with one thing and that's the fact of 7'3 bigs clogging the paint . I can't even drive to the basket as a slashing SG because the big man is just standing there. Go set picks , help move the ball or something . And I'm talking about the guys on my team not the other team
But that off topic /rant .#1 Laker fan

So what your either asking for is for 2K to re-allow 7-footers with guard skills, or for these slower players to guard the outside to give easier baskets inside...PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

As a fan of traditional 5s, your point doesn't make sense. IRL, 7+ footers don't guard the perimeter or set picks for the reason that people this big are usually not quick and can't get back on the roll if needed. I doubt Wilt's coaches were telling him to guard the outside so Jerry West could hold down the paint; as a high school center my coach sure didn't.
So what your either asking for is for 2K to re-allow 7-footers with guard skills, or for these slower players to guard the outside to give easier baskets inside...
Examples
Westbrook Drive the bigs aren't directly under the basket
Derrick Rose drive again his teammate isn't directly under the basket
I'm not asking 2k to do anything. I'm asking users especially big man to sometimes space he floor like those guys are doing .not completely on the perimeter but not directly under the basket all the time either. this is a problem in team up also .nothing wrong with being a step or so out the paint instead of standing under the basket holding your crouch to cheese for a rebound
KG ( pick and pop) and Deandre Jordan (pick and alley )set screens on the perimeter a bit. Andrew Bogut gives handoffs to Steph Curry .

Basically If I'm D Wade and you're White side don't just stand directly under the basket holding the charge button if I have my man beat and I'm going for a layup#1 Laker fan

Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
A lot of people made inside scoring centers this year with every attribute maxed except jump shooting so its only so much that they can do (at least the ones I know). On top of that teams with bigs don't know how to properly use them or use them strictly for rebounds while two guards take all the shots. Not to mention some of you guys will have a big on your team and never pass him the ball. I wouldn't break my joystick moving around knowing I wont touch the rock no matter my position under the basket or how open I am. Centers gotta eat too lol.Comment

if their on your then stop playing with randoms who don't understand the basic fundamentals. if their on the opposing team then shoot middys and eventual they'll try to guard you and you blow past them. basketball is a game of adjustments. also your part about saying how all 7'3 centers suck is really just a bad statement.Comment

Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
That's not what I'm saying man lol . I'm talking about the big man on my team on offense not defense and not the other team. When we have the ball. When Wade , Rose , Westbrook attack the paint the center is not dead smack in the middle of the paint so they can't even layup the ball. Might as well be another defender .

Westbrook Drive the bigs aren't directly under the basket
Derrick Rose drive again his teammate isn't directly under the basket

Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
You could also maybe pass it to your big down low instead of charging into a clogged paint, ever think of that? You are the one with the ball, move it to where its not crowded.

Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
This is the fault of so many guards not passing to centers and only using them to rebound so they learn to play that way. Many times in rec and now proam i was asked to sit under goal to rebound only and i told them to kick rocks and stick with guards who can hit the center on cuts and not have them stand out of bounds or under the goal.

I only use my SG every once in a while. No more assumptions Ok? Only facts#1 Laker fan

Re: 7'3 Centers Ruin The Park - Limted Time in the Key Is Needed
You may not know this but I primarily play big man . ... I post up , I set picks , cut for alleys, I don't demand the ball every play . Nor do I sit in the paint holding the charge button cheering for a rebound. Who said I was charging every play? That's a big assumption you just made and I would appreciate if you would stop doing that

When you play your guard pass the ball or shoot dont drive into a lane thats clogged. Whats assuming have to do with anything? Dont be mad that u want to drive and it isnt clear. Drive when its clear, or tell them to move.

Maybe its just the people you play with/against
Here I am vs ChrisGotFame and I get 10 rebs without holding nuts in the paint once

Holding nuts doesn't work very good this year, don't know why people still try to use it. If you are using it against a big that knows how and where to position, you won't win. Last year? Yes.
