Just to piggyback on what everyone else is saying - this patch is wonderful. Totally new feel to the game. It's just sooo good.

Is anyone not seeing the free throw walk back animation after the patch? Usually after you make a free throw you walk back to high five a teammate but now you just stay there. I am on PS4

Yeah it's a confirmed bug. I'm sure the team is aware of it and are looking for a quick fix.

Played a few NBA today games and I love SS/SIM right now. CPU is no longer automatic when shooting.... they actually miss open shots now.

I so hope this is true. I would think that would mean on HOF they miss a little more as well and not shoot 55%+ from the field and actually miss like my CPU players.

How did you get it to work? Is my skin too light or something? The screen just washed out when I start the scan and the ones that do complete fail with under 1000 reference points. My old face scan wasn't bad, had 16,000 ref points, I know what I'm doing.

I just decided to try this after the update and have failed 6 in a row already. I'm sweating from how frustrating it is

This is still not working for me. My home buffalo Braves uniforms are still producing red accessories and shoe colors.

Wow. Your experience is totally different frm mine. The first [crappy] facescan was done with mostly indoor lighting and had 20,000 ref points. Yes 20,000! And it still looked like that. The new facescan I did this morning. Took only 1 try and only had 10,000 ref points. It was sunny this morning so I had a window open but I had indoor lighting as well.

I wish I could be of more help.

Anyone try the face scans?

On my 8th attempt. All failed. I think it's too bright or something. I've tried dimming the lights and turning off the monitor. It just keeps failing over and over.

My old face scan had 16,000 ref points and now I can't even get 1. It just fails.



Pretty sure I've followed the instructions perfectly. Hence why the scan completes. It just doesn't want to find reference points for my complexion or something

Hopefully it is. I understand the CPU is meant to be harder and I've been on the hardest level ever since I've been playing 2K. But every complaint can't be knocked with "Its supposed to be hard" because it's HOF. I want it to be. But making every shot isn't and wasn't the way.

This isn't like past games like 2K15 for example. The CPU missed a lot more shots even after patch 4 and it was still tough some games. Now almost every team and player can make everything besides horrible shooters. And in all honesty the mode is not really hard, I can't really explain, it's just how accurate the CPU are from 3 and how often contested midrange shots go in it's annoying. It's highly unrealistic unlike past 2Ks I've played. I can still beat them but I feel like I have to score every single possession or shoot 60%+ to win. Never was that way before.

SS CPU also make a lot of shots they shouldn't be making as well. Just think it's the CPU shot %s combined w/ CPU teammates onball contest not being as effective as users since they tried to combat offball D online. Because when I am the defender or closing out on a shot, they'll miss more against me.

I can DEFINITELY agree with you that pre-patch, the CPU made way too many BS shots on SS/Sim. Like 24th said though, that seems to have been nerfed a bit.
