I guess I just don't understand the logic behind any game play patches. You spend the better part of a year making a game only to completely change it after a month because a few loud internet people tell you to? makes no sense.

this game gives you plenty of options to adjust the game play how you like out of the box so why patch it at all? especially when said patch has the ability to break something like co-op.

Don't agree really, sometimes there are some big gameplay issues that need to be patched. And also the sliders are nice in theory but a lot of times they don't function as intended

Those "bums" you speak of simply play the game different than you. "Learn" the game to whose standards? They paid money and can "learn" to play whatever way they want. Parrot.
First point: I don't believe you on the decent thing. If that was the case you wouldn't have even asked if anyone had found "Advantage Tactics" or "New ways to cheese". You would've went and figured it out yourself or just not said anything since you're "Decent" already. Since you got drilled immediately after asking those questions and being serious, your entire posting style has changed from "They took the cheese our, this patch sucks" repeating issues that you see others talk about so you can be on the side of "This patch sucks", without mentioning something you should have never mentioned in this forum to begin with.

The game moves slower, yes. Stuck in the mud I haven't felt unless I miss my launch point, or try to take off from an awkward position. I really don't know what you mean by fluidity. I seriously haven't experienced this, aside from the slight nerf to launch speeds which hinders a lot of my play style(To which I just starting using a different approach). The animations are fine. The only suspect ones are the ones on chase down blocks where you jump right when they clearly are going left. I believe that's part of the block nerf though.

Clipping...is suspect. They do need to turn the contact up a bit, but my defense hasn't suffered much, and from other posts it seems like other people are still successful. So, I'm inclined to believe most of these good defenders...well, just aren't.

The parrots comment: The "Bums" he's referencing are the people who refuse to adapt and cry about every change. Every patch has "Ruined" the game. Hell, everything was "Broken" day one. You can look that up just going back a few pages.

Human beings do not like change. We build routines, and follow them. Psychologically it gets on our nerves, even if only subconscious, when our plans change unexpectedly. The way a lot of people learned to play is not the way the game makers intended. This is obvious, I mean, otherwise they wouldn't have went on a campaign for defense. They wouldn't have dropped 3 patches in the span it took to get 1 last year, heavily changing gameplay to combat things.

What if I told you that they learned the wrong way to play, and because no one ever told them or did anything about it, they didn't know any better? So now they are mentally programmed to think the game is broken, and reject the idea that it might actually be them that doesn't understand what they're doing.

Finally, your video. Chris Paul doesn't take off immediately due to the fact that he just grabbed the loose ball. He got a slow pick up animation as opposed to one of the "In stride" ones, probably due to the guy next to him (Which should effect that.) People in the NBA don't just run over a ball bouncing low and pick it up at full speed. When they do, sometimes they bobble it as well, or even get the slow walk to grab it.

The pass looked bad, but I've seen that pre patch off a contact bump before. But I'll concede clipping, since it has gotten worse.

I'm not trying to come after you, but the game isn't as "Ruined" or "Broken" as everyone keeps acting like. But it's changed dramatically in 2 months, and a lot can't adapt that quickly.

One last thing: I'm not some kind of godlike 2k player, but I'm confident in my abilities. I have my own style of playing. I play smart, and efficient, and try to focus on good team basketball. My success in what I do is where my confidence comes from, and seeing people who are supposedly "Unbeatable 2k players" or "Better than everyone" whine about things I can personally deal with gives me my jaded attitude. I've dealt with all the dumb garbage from the previous games to the point of being able to actually just flat out stop the zig zag cheese in 2k15 with pure anticipation and instinct. So if I'm not all that great, which I'm pretty sure I'm not, Why can't "Good" players suck it up and adapt to the changes instead of crying about it? It frustrates me, and confuses me.

Wow so many complaints. Only thing that should be tuned is the turnovers when dribbling, seems you can get alot of steals by simply bumping into the guy dribbling.

I love the ai pnr defense, the game was way too easy before when the pnr was op.

I don't see the problem with defense being nerfed, seems much improved with zigzag and turbo cheesers being punished more. I still get blocks with smaller guys, it's just blocking at the right time.

So I'm guessing no one really notices the game speed issue on the game/mypark? feels very slow and the game speed slider doesn't help this issue.

                    1) That's cool if you don't believe me, doesn't matter. My skill level is nuke in this argument because it's about the broken game not me.
                    2) You being frustrated bears no sympathy from me. The game is broken as is. "I'm not attacking"......is what you say but your entire post was just that.
                    3) These "animations" are some of the problem I speak of, but you must not read but rather skim.

I think the last in-game update broke something. I'm constantly losing the ball now. Sometimes I don't even know what happened. An opponent runs into me and I lose the ball. I have around 10 turnovers now per game.
Also the stupid hesitation move is back when you are close to an opponent your player does this stupid hesitation animation.

Is M Harrel of the Rockets that good of a finisher? because of he hits one more 4 footer I'm going to go insane, lol

Look, game still isn't flawless man, it's really not.....there are still things that bug me....FOR ME, it's all about if these things outweigh the good and hinder my enjoyment. They do not currently. There are def legit gripes our there though....no question.

All I can suggest is to just TRY and adapt to the changes....(even if you know how to play the game and have been "playing since Dreamcast", it's still necessary) It's going to take more than a couple plays or a quarter. Don't freak out over every wonky thing you see. Stay out of replay. Grind out a couple games and get a good feel. If after that, the game is still "unplayable/broken" then so be it.

Any way, I know it wasn't in the notes, but I feel like the ability to get hot as a player as well as a team has been improved a lot

Went on a nice 2nd quarter run:

I went back and forth with it, but I swear there was a cap on how many 3's you could hit in a row pre patch, lol

This morning after a flash update like always inside the game I can't see legs accessories in some players like Carmelo Anthony and in other like Leonard I can't assign legs accessories except compression pants. At first I thought was a glitch of new roster but after I downloaded a old roster from PSN and the problem was still in there. I'm disappointed.

Edit. I can't assign any kind of wrap and I can't see any kind of wrap. C'mon 2K....

A whole 10 huh? You know 10 turnovers per game would lead the league, yeah? Literally, Charlotte averages 10.6 TOs per game and they're #1, Dallas is #2 at 12.6. The vast majority of teams average 14-16 per game. League-worst is OKC at 17 per game.

Don't mean to jump down your throat or anything, just kind of a pet peeve of mine. You should be averaging 13-16 TOs per, which means some games with 20+ and very few with less than 10.

It's too early in the a.m. to be that frustrated and upset, calm down and stick with 2K sir.

Left stick cross is still the better to use. Defenders recover too quickly after being broken down especially on higher difficulties.
